A team like the Golden State Warriors has very few weaknesses. However, Los Angeles Clippers executive board member Jerry West may have an idea of how best to exploit them.

West helped put together the Warriors dynasty when he was a member of their front office a few years ago. According to Tim Kawakami of The Athletic, The Logo feels the Dubs' bench is their weakness.

“To me, their bench is their weak point, there’s no question it’s their bench,” West said. “But at this time of year, you don’t need it that much. You get extra days off, so guys play 40 minutes or more if need be. Guys can play more when you’re chasing something that is really unique and important.”

There is certainly plenty of truth to Jerry West's comments. Golden State has found themselves relying much more heavily on the star-studded starting lineup as of late. If the Clippers have any chance of extending this series, West knows full well the only way to do so is to take advantage of when the Warriors' stars are off the floor.

Unfortunately, that becomes much more difficult in the playoffs due to the circumstances. The Warriors' recipe for success during the regular season was to build up a sizable lead and then rest their star players as much as possible. They were successful in their attempts more often than not and are now reaping the benefits by having their starters play extended minutes in the postseason.

Even if the Clippers are unable to take advantage, other rival Western Conference teams will be wise to take note of West's comments.
