On May 25th 2021, Mary made her flight into heaven- the final stamp in her precious passport. She watches her children Eli (9), Mila (7), and Tyus (5) from above. 

Mary was diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer five years ago at age 36. In true Mary fashion, she set out to exceed her initial prognosis and overachieved by living three years longer than her doctors thought possible. 

She packed the last five years of her life with adventure, love, joy, doing more in these last five years than some people dream of doing in their entire lifetime. 

While we mourn Mary's passing, we are grateful for the time we spent with her and the impact she made on everyone fortunate enough to know her. 

The outpouring of support and love felt by Mary and our family throughout this entire time has meant so much to us- thank you for joining on this journey. Let us continue to honor her by living each moment fully, laughing loudly, loving deeply each day, and supporting lung cancer research.
