Willa

I can’t even remember the first time my brother used me as a tool to make money. Being traded for favors to make rent was such a regular part of my teen-hood. I didn’t realize how abnormal I was until I met the man who saved my life.

I knew going in that this baby would probably wreck me and have me going “WTF???” but I did not expect all THAT at the very beginning. I mean, yeah, okay, I know better than to assume anything when it comes to this author, but...DAMN! Even I didn’t expect that. And then on the flip side, I fell in absolute love with Gabe and Willa...but to fall even further into love and adoration with another character??? So, yeah, this baby just did me in in the most heartbreaking ~ and strangely enough ~ heart melting of ways.

Gabe and Willa. I loved them. I did. The goodness that these two put out was addicting. The crazy, dark and painful they went through was heartbreaking. But the strength they both have at their very cores was what kept me turning the pages. They both went through so much but the connection they had, was so strong that there was no way they wouldn’t end up together no matter what the world threw at them.

So, yup, this review is short and vague, but it has to be because Rage aka Gabe and Willa are worth it. Their journey is intense. And as for the supporting cast of characters...well, I gotta say, I had a thing for Grim to begin with, but this baby had me falling even harder for him in every way. Also, we get to hang out with some of the other RBMC chapters and it was all kinds of fun!

This story was spectacular!
Gabe and Willa's tale was intense at times and very loving and happy at other times and then...
Boom. Boom. Boom.
The impossible happens and the reader feels the grief and despair along with these characters.
Rage was all encompassing, the story grasped and grabbed me from the very first page until the last. I did not want this story to end.

A story about secrets, survival, love and loss, and second chances. We first met Rage in book 1, Animal. We caught glimpses of his story but never got the full picture. Rage follows Gabe Cohen, known as “The Raging Beast”, and his club in Little Rock, AR. Willa hasn’t had the best upbringing and is very troubled when she meets Rage. Her childhood was heart rendering to read. He becomes her guardian angel and they fall in love. Tragedy occurs and life must move on. What a ride we took! The story was linear with a surprising twist. His journey was heart-breaking and raw. Fast paced and full of action. Packed with grit. This was much darker than Ker Dukey’s first book in this series. I loved his friendship with Jameson. Lots of brothers were mentioned again from the first book, including Koyn and Copper from K. Websters books, and am curious to read more from them.

Oh my gosh, what was that? Grit, pain and angst, all I can say is I'm glad I'm not Willa cause Ker sure put her through a rough time.

Willa was left to be raised by her brother from a young age. As nice as that seems, unfortunately, things aren't smooth sailing from Willa. When Willa's brother fails to repay a debt Gage comes to collect on behalf of the Royal Bastards MC. Gage lives up to his patch name of Rage but with Willa, we see a far more gentle side.

Love the story. If bikers, action and suspense with a dose of darkness is your thing then you should definitely check out Rage.

Rage is book two so I highly recommend you read book one Animal before you read this. I did the stupid thing of starting this one night in bed.so yes you guessed it I ended up staying up until the early hours to read it all. I should know better with this author lol

This is an absolutely brilliant read. Gabe and Willa- crikey these two are awesome.

I don’t want to say much about the storyline in case I ruin it. So I will say 1-click and enjoy this crazy awesome read.

Expect the unexpected with this author.

Rage

Almost every chapter is a skip of weeks months of years . the main couple is apart more than together . and in the 10 year jump he is with another woman named grace until a serial kill her . It was to sporadic and chaotic for my taste . I do not know if I would read another book by her if this is her style

Rage

Wow what an awesome book this was. This is the first book I've read by this author and I liked it so much I have one clicked several others of hers.

Rage was intense and not for the faint of heart. It has all of the angst and raw unforgiving emotions .

But no matter what Rage and Willa go through their love is strong if not battle weary. So many surprises pop up in this book and once again the Royal Bastards MC series has another winner in my opinion with Rage . I loved the story the characters and the brotherhood I look forward to reading the next installment in this MC series.

Trust me, you want to go into it with no preconceived ideas. This book will has several twists and turns that you won’t expect. Gabe and Willa have an instant once in a lifetime connection but it will not come easy. Your gonna need a glass of your favorite beverage for this one.

Another mind blowing book from Ker Dukey.

Gabe Cohan aka Rage is part of the Royal Bastards MC Club.

We met Gabe in Bad neighbour (Jameson book his best friend) and also in Animal (Alec Walker)

Willa Hendrix has not had a great start in life, her brother Milo who is meant to protect her and look out for her, does nothing on the sort he uses her for his own good and nothing else.

One day that all changes when he gets a visit from the Royal Bastards MC Club, Gabe doesn't like what he see's when entering the room, a scared and frightened young women.

He takes her and offers her a chance in the real world, something she has never had before.

The chemistry between Gabe & Willa from the start is intense, just like this book it will have your head spinning and turning them pages as fast as you can.

I was on the edge of my seat at some parts thinking WTF it will blow your mind, take you on a crazy ride and when you have finished you will just want more.

Hold on tight because you are in for a wild crazy and mind fu*king ride.

Not giving to much away you need to read it for yourself.

Willa is leading a life she never wanted to lead. Her brother makes her do things that he shouldn't make he do because he needs the money. One day Gabe who is part of the Royal Bastards MC shows up to get money that Willa's brother owes to the MC. But of course he doesn't have it. So Willa agrees to go with Gabe as a promise that her brother will get the money together.
Once Willa is away from her brother she realizes what the world really is like. She learns that she can be free and that is all because of Gabe. A lot of things happen in her life and she learns who she really is but she ends up leaving Gabe to figure this out. Will these two get a happy ever after? What will happen before that can happen if it happens? This was an intense page turning mind blowing storyline. There were moments that were shocking that I didn't see coming. I absolutely loved Gabe and Willa these two have some amazing chemistry and Ker writes their story amazingly. You can easily feel everything these two are feeling toward each other. Another great book in this series. I highly recommend and cant wait to read more.

This gritty raw book will grab you and no matter what you will not be able to put it down until you finish the last page. This thrilling book moves along at a great pace making for a thrilling read. The characters will grab your interest and you want to know more about them. No matter what happens you will fall in love with them and want to see them succeed over whatever may get in their way. this book needs to be on your TBR list, no doubt about it.

alpha emotional kidnapping

My heart breaks for Willa enduring abuse and pain by someone who is supposed to love you. Willa had a rough tormented up bringing until the day Gabe walked into her life. Gabe set her free show her what love and freedom felt like. They were building a life together then come the twists and turns all the heartbreak.

I would definitely recommend this amazing book i cant write to much about it without giving away spoilers

This story honestly broke my heart at times. I wanted to cry for both Rage and Willa. I know life isn't fair, but it seems like it was particularly unfair to these 2.

Amber- Leave Me Alone I’m Reading

Dark and emotional, poetic and uplifting, my heart and emotions were all over the place in this excellent read. I was drawn into the story from the first chapter and couldn't put it done, even to breathe. I NEEDED to know what was going to happen. There are so many amazing characters in this story, detailed and real. The twists and turns were not only there but shocking and some left me gasping. I very much enjoyed this story and think readers who are looking for a story to consume them will be happy with this one. 4.25 stars.

Omg I couldn’t put this book down! I devoured Rage. It’s so good! I am swooning so hard for Gabe. This book is packing in all the things... I laughed and cried, I cheered and screamed, and was on the edge of my seat! Soooo good! Absolutely recommend if you’re into MC books. You won’t want to miss it!!

I was a little disappointed with this read. We are given Willa's background, how they meet and fall in love (with several time jumps) and how they are separated. I feel more time was spent on the before and we get next to nothing of the now.

Rage is the second book in the Royal Bastards MC series. I’m not fond of MC reads but whatever Ker writes I’m reading. Doesn’t matter what genre it is, I’m there and this series has my undivided attention. With every book I’m anxiously waiting for the next. This is Gabe and Willa’s story.

After reading the blurb, I thought I knew what to expect but I was wrong. Leave it up to Ker to completely throw you off your rocker. She had me hooked from the first page until the very last.

“Stories don’t always end once the final page is turned. There’s so much more left to be written. Sometimes the final page is just the start, and it’s up to us to determine whether it remains a fairytale or a tragedy.”

Willa is a prisoner in her own home. Her father walked out on her and her brother Milo when she was nine and he was sixteen. Leaving him to provide and take care of her. Only he didn’t. She became his possession.

“We have to do bad things, things we don’t want to, but it’s so we can have a future where we don’t want for anything.”

Milo owes money to people you don’t want to mess with and Gabe came to collect on behalf of the Royal Bastards MC. What he walked in on wasn’t what he expected to see. Milo confesses he only has half. It isn’t going to cut it and he needs collateral. Willa offers herself until Milo has the money.

When Gabe and Jameson find out all the horrible things Milo has done to Willa they do everything they can to protect her.

“He doesn’t own you, Willa. No one can own you. You’re not for sale.”

Gabe feels connected to Willa. She reminds him of what his mother went through and he doesn’t want that for her. Now that Willa is free, she doesn’t know how to be on her own. Living in her brother’s cage is all she knows. She’s broken and Gabe wants to fix her. What they didn’t expect is to fall for each other.

“I want to be with you—not out of some weird duty thing, but because my body literally aches to be close to yours. My heart races at one simple look from your eyes. When my name caresses your tongue, I want to drown in your voice.”

Gabe and Willa are soulmates. They go through so much to find their happiness.

“Every heartbeat away from you was one wasted.”

This story has lots of twist and turns, suspense and heartache. One that gives you all the feels. An amazing read. I can’t wait to see what’s next in this series.

Willa lost her parents early on and was raised by her brother (Milo) want to be a drug dealer he keeps her under lock and key he won't let her go out and have a life until he gets into a bad situation. Where he end's up selling her to a man because he owes big money to people who will kill him this sets up Willa's life for the next few years till one night Milo is at his bar being cruel to Willa because Mr. Right doesn't want her anymore. Enters Gabe who was sent by the Royal Bastard MC to get the money Milo owes them. When Milo can't pay they take Willa as payment not to use but to rescue her sorta. This book was so good I loved it more than animal!

Author includes copy of the MC’s code. You may want to skip in order to get right to the story but aren’t you curious as to what it is? She also includes a title list for the series just in case you want to check out any authors and titles you may have missed. You will also want to pay attention to her Note. If the note doesn’t do that for you the Prologue might.

Willa doesn’t have the best upbringing. She shows how we can feel when there are men who know just how to browbeat us. It makes us feel helpless and alone. There will be some women who know exactly what she’s feeling and this may be a trigger for them. She just needs the right person to show her how to love life.

Gabe has to enforce the rules but he does have compassion for some. He has a good friend in Jameson and now I want to know his story. The author reigns me back into the story that I’m here to read. At times though he gave me a laugh because he likes to poke the bear. When Gabe gives his heart he gives it wholeheartedly. The author shows us both sides of the man. We see the man who belongs to an MC and the man whose heart belongs to a woman.

This is a story of an older man and younger woman but I really didn’t feel that except when the lack of life experience comes up. I found myself looking for the suspense around every corner instead of letting the author do her job. The good thing was that when it did come, it was a surprise. Another surprise was I got two endings. By that end our author has me looking forward to the time I can read the next book in the series.

The guys in the Little Rock Chapter of the Royal Bastards MC just own me. They are bad to the bone, lethal when needed, loyal to a fault and protective mush when it comes to their women. Can you hear me when I say Alpha to the Max. Rage’s storyline is simply outstanding and very appropriately titled (both the book and his road name).

Willa has been tormented, used, and held captive by her dominating brother since she was a young girl. She is finally rescued by Gage (AKA Rage) and Jamison. Gage gives her a place to stay while she tries to learn how to survive on her own. Her road is a rocky one but Gage is always in her mind and heart and Gage can’t forget her. They finally reunite and marry only to have her taken from him by death. Gage wants to die. He buries himself in liquor and danger. His brother keeps him busy doing all the dirty work they can to give him an outlet for his “Rage”. But still Gage spends years mourning her loss.

My Review is a bit vague because spoiling this amazing read would be a real crime. I will say the book has lots of twists and turns, heartaches, suspense and action. It’s a phenomenal read that this reader Highly Recommend grabbing up asap. You won’t regret it. While it can be read as a standalone, I would also suggest reading book 1, Animal - it’s another fantastic read.

Look forward to finding out what's in store next for the Royal Bastards Little Rock Chapter.

Wow ! This is my first book by this author I know I know where have I been apparently under a rock because I could kick myself for not reading something by her sooner considering I have several of her books on my kindle .
This story is raw intense and definitely not for the faint I absolutely love MC romances and this has everything I love about them and more it’s angsty and steamy with lots of action and a definite must read from this series! I loved this story so much Rage and Willas Journey was not easy at all I loved the characters the brotherhood this is a fantastic read and I can’t wait for more from this series!

My God what did I just read..... Holy Hades my mind is spinning. I can't say enough about this book but I will say that Gabe and Willa really had me on the edge of my seat reading faster to see what was coming. I mean I was like speechless during this read and that is a good thing because I love a good story full of rage and lust and then love.

Never underestimate the power of love and that is what this couple did. They fought for what they wanted and needed. They did struggle at first but together they decided to give it a go and what came out of that is what makes this book amazing! This is a one click book that is a must read. Plus we get to see other members of the Royal Bastards.
