Hello Teachers,
The GLOBE Midwest Collaborative is very excited that you and your students will be joining us for the GLOBE Midwest ESS Virtual Science Symposium! This is a wonderful opportunity for students to showcase their science research and share their work with fellow students, scientists and educators. Students can submit in one of the following formats:
- Completed Research Project in Poster Format
- No Research Project? No Problem!
- Research Project, in Progress
- Discussion of Research Project Ideas
-“What GLOBE Means to Me”-essay, video, podcast, art work, poem
You can also submit class entries in the above classifications. Your students do not need to appear in the video.
Each entry will be upload to
https://tinyurl.com/GLOBEMidwestESSEntry including a pre-recorded presentation (less than 5 minutes) uploaded to YouTube. The video will be played during the "Live Virtual" Event on May 13, 2021.
Your students' work needs to be upload to
https://tinyurl.com/GLOBEMidwestESSEntry by May 7.
It is very important that we get an accurate count of students who will be submitting GLOBE work for the GLOBE Midwest ESS Virtual Science Symposium and attending the "live virtual" conference via Zoom. Please fill out the information listed below as accurately as possible. Once submitted, you can go back in and edit the form. This information helps us plan the "LIVE Virtual" event. If you need more than 10 entries, just fill out another form.
Every student who participates in the GLOBE Midwest ESS Virtual Science Symposium is required to complete a student registration form with their parents'/guardians' signature on the NASA Media Release Form (included in the registration). We will inform you if your students did not register.
