Received it three to four weeks ago. One of the first puzzles I saw when I started collecting and from that point on it was on my wishlist. So happy they've mass-produced it. And I bought it right away as pre-order from mefferts.com.

That's a nice, well-rounded collection.
And you've got a few puzzles in there (like the Latch Cube) that can't easily be found anymore.

Thanks. And yeah, with the Latch Cube I was lucky. I bought it from hknowstore and after I bought it they were out of stock.

The rest are pretty common I believe, except those two picture 15-puzzles, those are from the 90's and a gift from my Grandma.

And the Animal Picture cubes were from a shop nearby here in The Netherlands, so I believe they might be hard to come by for the average former Cube-Collector.

Update June 28th, 2014:
2014 / bought @ cubezz.com: MF8 Black Eitan's Star

Ok, my most expensive puzzle arrived two days ago. Since Eitan's Star comes unstickered, I made up my own pattern. Here are all pictures of my sticker pattern.

Soon the Rainbow Nautilus arrives, and after that I think I'm done buying puzzles for a while. Eitan's Star costed me 63 euros (83 dollars), which is a lot for a single puzzle in my opinion.

Update February 7th, 2015:
2014 / gift: Rubik's Void Cube

Received this with St. Nicholas' eve. Will update again in a few weeks since I just ordered four more cubes (including the Smaz Time Machine).

Haven't played with my Cubes in a while since I'm quite busy with my job now that I graduated from collage since last September. Will maybe take some time during the weekends soon (note the plural in "weekends"

) to try and finally solve my Eitan's Star (although it's more likely I finally completely solve it in a few years instead

).

I see you've noticed that my favorite color is green.

Although currently they are placed random on my shelf again

(still with white on top though). Perhaps I should re-arrange them soon after I receive my newest puzzles. If I still have enough space for all of them on the shelf..

Update February 19th, 2015:
2015 / Made myself: own Grey 1x1x1 Cube (made out of Lego and pieces of colored paper)

2015 / bought @ hknowstore.com: Meffert's 9-colored Ball Sudoku Cube

Made another 1x1x1, with Grey Lego blocks this time (just felt like making another one

). Because it is so small and my mobile camera crappy, it's a pretty low quality photo.. Too bad I'm gone in the morning without sunlight and I'm back home without sunlight, so have to make the picture with the light of my ceiling lamp.. (8 hours working and 4 hours traveling a day..

)
Also, my Ball Sudoku Cube arrived pretty fast from HKNowStore, only 8 days. Was expecting to wait about 2-3 weeks like most of the time when I order something from China or the US. It's actually more difficult then I thought at first, but thinking about the possible solutions was fun and I'm glad I bought it.

Will update again when the other three cubes arrive (two from Lightake and one from Cubezz).

I finally solved my Eitan's Star! I can honestly say that it is by far the hardest puzzle I have ever solved. More information can be found in the Accomplishments thread.

Update on my collection: I still haven't received the Gear Barrel yet..

I've also ordered a MoZhi Skewb Ball and Dreidel 3x3x3, so I'm gonna wait for all three of those (and my new mobile with better camera) to arrive before I update this thread.

Also, begin June I'm gonna have my biggest order yet. Currently have a wishlist/buylist of around 33 puzzles which I'm gonna order all on the same day at the start of June.

EDIT April 19th: Yay, the Geranium Puzzle, the last puzzle I had left to solve is also back to its solved state! That feels awesome. I can also honestly say that Eitan's Star and the Geranium Puzzle are of equal difficulty. Eitan's Star may be bigger, but the solving of the pieces and the setup moves are a lot easier than on the Geranium Puzzle. Again, more information can be found in the Accomplishments thread. (One thing these two puzzles have in common though: make one mistake in a lack of concentration, and you can start over again from square one.)

Still haven't received my Gear Barrel.. But since I've got quite a lot of new puzzles since last time I decided to update my collection post anyway. I also still haven't received my new mobile camera, so the pictures are still of bad quality and the thread is still in it's old format. This June I will order around 30 more puzzles (my biggest order yet). After I've received all those I will finally update this entire thread to make it more orderly and accessible.

Also, if anyone know of which brand / manufacturer all my "unknown brand" puzzles are, let me know.

Yeah I know, and I did had it filled in a few years back, but I prefer to have my own photos instead of those from the Museum. This format I use right now, with the links to individual pictures and stating the year and place I got them works for me, so I'll keep it this way.

Yay, the Gear Barrel which I've pre-ordered exactly four months ago (on March 1st) has arrived. Since this was the last puzzle I had yet to receive, I've updated my picture of the entire collection (and replaced it with a couple of pictures). The other updates of the past month can be found in the EDITs of the previous posts for each corresponding date.

As stated before, I'm done buying puzzles for a while, unless I find a good quality Roundy puzzle (for less than 130 dollars) somewhere.

Yesterday I found a surprise on my twisty puzzles shelves. Turns out I had a new puzzle between the rest of them. My dad just put it there without saying anything to me until I noticed it between the rest of the puzzles. He is a school teacher (for the subject electrical engineering) and some of the students at the school once won the puzzle at a math game. Nobody wanted it, and one of his colleagues (the math teacher) said he could take it if he wanted. So my dad took it home for me.

I saw it before here at the Twisty Puzzles Shop, but because the shipping to The Netherlands were a bit on the expensive side I didn't bought it. Anyway, it's a fun little puzzle and something unique that has been added to my collection.

If you want to make that puzzle a little more challenging, put an arrow sticker on each car pointing to the next car, so that when solved the arrows also have to go the same way.

I prefer to leave it in it's original state for now since it's a gift from my dad, but I can see why it would add a bit of fun to the solve. Maybe if I ever get my hands on another one I might indeed turn it into a Super version with your suggestion.

I couldn't resist bidding on some of the puzzles, and so far I've won these two. I have the feeling more will soon follow.

I finally got a one! After searching for a Roundy Puzzle for around a year ever since I saw Tony Fisher's video of him solving 4 Ultra Rare puzzles I wanted a Roundy Puzzle in my collection. About three months ago I lost an eBay auction by an auction sniper in the last few seconds, but this time I got one. I bought it rather expensive, but since I wanted one quite badly, I just thought to myself: "I only have to buy it once, then I just got it to enjoy." So I did it, bought one from eBay fairly pricey, but I'm happy I did. I feel really relieved that I finally have one. The white side is slightly discolored by the sun unfortunately, but other than that it looks really good for a puzzle from 1993.

2015 / bought @ lightake.com: Oskar van Deventer's & CubeTwist's & "unknown KO brand" White Gear 5x5x5 Cube

Even though the paint quality is bad like we saw on pictures of the mass-produced Gear 5x5x5 floating around on the forum already, and loose stuff is falling out when turning, I'm still glad I bought one. I'm also glad I waited for reviews and a cheaper offer when hknowstore.com put them on their site for $ 24,-. Even though lightake has shipping costs for this particular puzzle (for whatever reason, since they usually don't have any shipping costs), it is still only around $ 17,50 total.
Now I'm gonna scramble it, clean the stuff that's falling out

and try to solve it.
EDIT: Just scrambling and solving the big pieces already resulted in white stuff and colored paint all over the place..

One of the heaviest puzzles I own, since the pieces are made of tin. This is the English version, made in Hungary, with a box from France (and an additional sticker with Dutch information at the bottom of the box)

Original Tricky Disky and Enigma - Colored Dots were both from junanan of the TwistyPuzzles Forum (here is a link to his sale thread (with additional copies of these two particular puzzles still for sale)), although I bought them on eBay before I knew he was the one selling them. Both were in excellent quality and the Tricky Disky was even still sealed in plastic.

The Transparent Green Rubik's UFO with the Stand was on my wishlist for more than two years already, but since they were out of stock on most places and I already knew how to solve it (it's the same kind of solve as the 2-layered Cheese / Petal), I wasn't actively looking for it. Recently I came across one on ebay half the price of the webshops where it was out of stock, still in his original package with the Stand I wanted, so I didn't hesitate to add it to my collection.

As for the Transparent YongJun LingGan.. I planned on doing a mod with it, but unfortunately it's less see-through as I thought. I might still try to mod it, but I think I'm gonna look for a better alternative for the mod I had in mind instead, and leave this puzzle as is in my collection.

EDIT (24th September, 2015):
Since the YongJun LingGan wasn't suitable for the mod I had in mind, I decided to mod it into a Troll Cube instead. Here is the result.
I will still make the mod I had in mind, just slightly different. Instead of a Transparent Cube I will order a Void Cube. [spoiler]The name of the puzzle will be Kaleidoscope Void Cube.[/spoiler]
EDIT: Almost solved the Troll Cube. I've dealt with the two flipped edges, incorrectly oriented corner, and now everything is solved except for a single center rotated 90 degrees, a 3x3x3 parity I haven't encountered on any of my other 3x3x3 shapemods / picture mods yet. If you have a spare 3x3x3 lying around, the Troll Cube is definitely a recommendation if you like 3x3x3 shape/sticker mods. Thanks a lot to the designer of it, Choong Myoung Lee.

After losing the eBay auction for this puzzle from Marty's sale, because the price went higher than the price new on witeden.com (although I forgot about witeden's shipping cost of a few bucks), I decided to buy it new. This was around 6 weeks ago, and I was kinda worried. Not because it took so long (puzzle orders takes sometimes longer than usual), but more by the fact I had accidentally ordered it anonymous without logging in. So the only prove I had for the purchase was the paypal payment.
But it showed up after all and I must admit I'm kinda relieved. Not that I don't trust WitEden, since I've already made a couple of orders from them, but more that I couldn't check my order or contact witeden with an order-number in case something went wrong, because all I had was the paypal-payment. But it showed up, so I have nothing to worry about. Now let's scramble and (try to) solve it.

My oldest puzzle by far. A 4x8 sliding puzzle from 1966. A map of the USA made in Hong Kong. I was happily surprised by the effortless sliding, in comparison to my two Picture Fifteen Puzzles (Blue Foot and Red Ladybug).

2015 / bought @ lightake.com: ShengShou & Homemade Black Megamoid v1 Bandaged Megaminx

The original plan was to make a Megamoid v1, since gsusfrq keep telling us it's his favorite puzzle solving-wise.

But after seeing a tutorial on how to make one I realized I needed epoxy, a belt grinder (or vile everything by hand), black spray paint, and a lot of time. So, instead I decided to just glue pieces together to form the exact same solve as the Megamoid v1, but less cool-looking. To still easily distinguish the bandaged pieces during the solve I used a permanent marker to form lines (I might replace them with bandaged stickers in the future, but for now this will do).

Bought some new puzzles yesterday at the Dutch Cube Day 2015. I had the privilege to meet some amazing people there, most of them active here on the TwistyPuzzles Forum. Some of the people I met were: Oskar van Deventer, Tony Fischer, Tom van der Zanden, Olivér Nagy, Laurie Brokenshire and his wife Ethel, Konrad and a lot of other nice people. I haven't met all of them, but I did had a wonderful time and I'm definitely going again next year.

Five of the puzzles I bought from one market stall from Joop van der Vaart for a pretty cheap price, and the other two from two different market stalls. It was also pretty funny that the Whirligig Plate 9 Circles was for sale at another stall and when I asked the price they stated 60 euros (which was a bit too much for me), and then I saw this one in other stall (I did notice the crack though) and asked the same question and they replied 2 euro

(they also said it has a broken piece at the side, but still, the puzzle still functions perfectly fine and turns pretty good, and for 2 euro I couldn't just let it pass, especially after someone else asked 60 euros).
I also managed to find a BrainTwist (they aren't rare or anything, I just wanted one recently and thought it might pop up at the Dutch Cube Day anyway, so I hadn't looked online for it yet, and I was right).

It was a wonderful day, and I got some wonderful new puzzles for a cheap price (I believe I've spend 40 euros total, which isn't a lot considering everything I saw for sale on all the market stalls).

My latest puzzle which I've also bought from galkamn (and which he had send a couple of days later) also arrived.

Also, Konrad suggested I should post small pictures directly instead of just the link, so I edited my previous post to see how it would looked and liked it a lot. So, I took little over an hour to update all my previous posts and add the pictures (and also replaced some of my old mobile pictures with new (much) better quality ones). Thanks Konrad for the suggestion, and I hope people with rather slow internet can still load the page with all these picutures

I came up with the idea and colors, and Olivér Nagy with the actual design of the eye and stickers. I think it turned out great and want to thank Olivér Nagy for making my request and making such high quality stickers. More info can be found here.

Also, I've restickered my Megamoid v1 Banaged Megaminx (again with sticker from Olivér Nagy). It looks a lot better now than with the "permanent"

marker that was already half-gone after a single solve.

I saw this puzzle for the first time in someone's video a few years ago when I started collecting, but didn't knew where to buy it back then and apparently I forgot about it. Then I spotted it again at the Dutch Cube Day 2015 a few weeks ago. I found the v1 still for sale at witeden.com, so I didn't hesitate to buy it.

One more puzzle incoming (gal_eon's Roto 36), and then I'll update my main post & collection pictures and start working on my collection video.

This was the only puzzle I was still waiting for. I believe this is the first time this year I haven't got a new puzzle incoming.

I will now focus on solving this puzzle and one more unsolved puzzle, and then start making my collection video and update my main post.

Update December 1st, 2015:

After buying and solving the Roto36 from Galen Ivanov, and seeing how good the quality was, I couldn't resist also buying his Number Swing and Vitrail. I will scramble them now, and see if I'm able to solve them both as well.

Also, I bought a camera with the money I got from my birthday, so these pictures (and the Roto 36 in the post above) are made with 16M pixel, instead of the 8M from my mobile (or 5M from my old mobile). Not sure when I'm gonna update all other pictures though.

2015 / bought @ hknowstore.com & oliverstickers.com: David Pitcher's & Calvin's Metalized Purple Stickered Pitcher Insanity Cube

I'm glad I decided to wait when the regular Black, White and Blue editions were released. I did plan on buying the Pitcher Insanity Cube, but since I already bought quite a lot I didn't buy it right away. When the Metalized versions were released I first made sure Olivér Nagy would make the stickers, which he had already planned to make, so I went to buy the Purple Metalized version. It arrived a couple of days ago, and today the stickers arrived. It does look great, and I will now scramble and try to solve it.

2015 / bought @ AliExpress.com: VeryPuzzles' Mini Geranium (with original package)

If I bought it at the same time as my regular Geranium Puzzle I could have saved 10 dollars, but better late than never. At least it wasn't out of stock everywhere, like the Crazy Tetrahedron Saturn/Uranus I'm still looking for. Also, maybe the Pocket Geranium will follow in the near future, but for now it isn't speaking as much to me as the regular or Mini did. First I still have to solve Galen's Number Swing though..

PS: I kept the box because it is pretty nice. Usually I only do this for vintage puzzle.

2015 / bought directly from David Pitcher: David Pitcher's Black 3D-printed Fracture-12 (signed)

Even though my 3D-printed Fully Functional Siamese 2x2x2 (also by David Pitcher) arrived sooner, this Fracture-12 was the very first 3D-printed puzzle I've bought. I bought it directly from Dave himself with the service of assembling, stickering, tensioning, lubing, and signing the puzzle, at a reasonable additional expense. This was after careful consideration of every single one of his puzzles and asking some questions and advice for my favorites among them. It is my most expensive puzzle, but I'm very glad I bought it and will most likely have a lot of fun (and perhaps some frustration) figuring it out.

EDIT: Scrambled:

The solve started pretty easy with all the two-colored (bigger) pieces, until I was left with just two that needed to swap.. I don't even know what causes this parity, let alone how I need to solve it. But I will find out, eventually..

The transparent YongJun GuanLong I bought at the same time as the Megamorphix has been modded. Some more info can be found here.
I might buy a few more transparent YongJun GuanLong's for similar mods, although I don't know yet what I will put in next.

Update December 25th, 2015:
2015 / gift: hidden Tiled Pyraminx Crystal KO brand, so I'm not allowed to name the manufacturer.

Received two puzzles during Christmas. One of them was this Pyraminx Crystal, and also a Megaminx that I'm using for a mod. In addition I received some money and bought some other puzzles, which will be arriving in a couple of weeks.

Everyone happy holidays, may you solve and collect many puzzles!

Also, my collection video is almost completely filmed. After that I just need to edit and upload it.

2016 / bought @ kubuswinkel.nl: Diff Design Oy's Bolaris - Vastaväri

Juraj (dzhoshi) came with the tip of getting a Bolaris puzzle. After I read on the official Finish site of the Bolaris that there is also a Dutch webshop where Bolaris puzzles are being sold, I immediately went to buy it. It arrived today after just two days, and the shipping was also pretty cheap since it was domestic shipping for me.

There are four available versions: One with a few grey tints (the easiest), one with domino patterns that require thinking beforehand like a Sudoku Cube, a World Globe (which was unfortunately not available at the kubuswinkel.nl webshop I bought it from), and this Rainbow Bolaris I decided to buy. The quality is excellent, and once again thanks to Juraj for recommending it to me. I'm now gonna scramble it, as I always do after making an update post here.
