Daigusto Phoenix
On that note, you then consider consolidating "spent" Rank 2s into Downerd Magician. Say your Daigusto Phoenix dealt its 3000 dmg... might as well be left with a slightly stronger monster that can protect itself too (and pierce as well).

Daigusto Phoenix is a monster I've long wanted, but it's been out of my pricerange. Downerd Magician is an interesting choice and I'll need to look into it, but likewise, it is a bit out of my pricerange.

I will be adding Mega Mobius when I can. Is plasma worth running in multiples? This deck doesn't really have a problem summoning him, and he is a bit of a powerhouse.

Heralds have worked surprisingly well, letting me recycle used tribute monsters when I can't draw them. Considering trying out Kuraz to increase drawing power of the deck.
