God help us. The lefties that took out the full page ad in the New York Times calling him "General Betrayus" were right. If he hasn't already ascertained the truth in this (unlikely), why hasn't he publicly tendered his resignation and come forward with exact details?

The thought occurred to me just now - maybe the question is, "Why did Obama want the Ambassador dead?"

Or, am I out of line here??

Although Russia figures prominently here, Iran now comes into focus
as Russia is not likely to directly engage U.S. forces. They must,
however, protect their interests. Much like we were using
anti-Assad forces to advance our objectives in Syria, Russia was using
Iranian-backed forces to protect theirs.
It appears that the
attacks were conducted or facilitated by Iranian assets—perhaps as many
as three teams of assets in Benghazi.

As the White House and other agencies monitored intelligence in
real-time, they faced a dilemma. They knew that the nation/state
sponsored attack teams were lying in wait for U.S. rescue forces to
arrive, which is the reason the fight did not conclusively end sooner.
They did not know exactly where all of the attack teams were, but knew
they were present based on signal communication intercepts. Could they
risk such exposure by deploying a rescue team to Benghazi, only to end
up with another Black Hawk down type scenario? In addition to that
scenario, the entire operation now becomes exposed for what it is. Take
another look at Panetta’s statement in that context. Does it now make
more sense? Bad PR in an election year, no? [Canada

A few Primed and ready Special Forces Killers with a gunship overhead providing cover is enough to take the entire shit hole of a country.

When I saw the pictures of the terrorists holding Ambassador Stevens’ body, I thought to myself, ”this is how I felt when I saw the terrorists in Mogadishu dragging the body of SFC Shughart through the streets of Mogadishu.

But while that incident pegged my rage meter—I knew Randy Schugart, we were in the same platoon at the 2d Ranger Bn before he went to SFOD-D—as more details were uncovered, I realized that wasn’t what Benghazi reminded me of.

The footage of the burning consulate at Benghazi reminded me of how I felt watching the compound outside of Waco going up in flames, and the anger of knowing that our government had just murdered 84 of its own citizens. And the sickening feeling that nothing would ever be done about it.
