Annie Maheux, Ph.D and Assistant Professor of Psychology and Neuroscience at UNC Chapel Hill's will share her research on the impact of technology use on mental health among young people. Annie grew up in South Hero, VT and graduated from UVM with a BA in Psychology before receiving her Ph.D in Developmental and Social Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh in 2023. Annie's research addresses sociocultural and technological influences on adolescent development, with a focus on mental health, gender, and sexuality.
