Everything was at least as good as we'd hoped. Michael was a great host helping us out with suggestions and directions. The studio is quite big and 5 minutes walk to the train station, tram stop and V3 bike hire stand. There is a Lidl 4 minutes away.

This was a very comfortable stay. It is a fair way from town but that didn't bother us as we came to reset and recoup after a long period of travel. This was the perfect place to do so.

A great, very roomy property over two floors: the shower room, pedestal and bathroom accessories - as well as washing machine and storage - are on the ground floor; the double bed, kitchen, table and sofa are in the first floor living space. Everything necessary for a couple or a single traveller is provided, whatever the length of their stay. Although the flat is in a quiet backstreet, several supermarkets and restaurants are nearby. The most difficult choice for me was whether to pick a more expensive place nearer to the centre of Bordeaux, or choose somewhere near the main station. If you're travelling by train, this is a no-brainer. The flat is close to Gare St Jean and the tram links from there are quite superb, so getting about Bordeaux is never a dilemma. (I highly recommend buying a 24-hr ticket for a mere €5. This gives access to all transport and is a snip.)

Such a spacious, light studio, with a beautiful bathroom downstairs (toilet upstairs). Fully equipped, extremely comfortable. Michel was a very helpful, informative host. Place to store our bikes. Air con a blessing in the heat, and the optional outside blinds. Street very quiet, but close to action at the Saint Jean station. Easy access to tram into the centre, and to two supermarkets. We stayed 3 nights, could happily have stayed more. 48 hr Bordeaux City Pass excellent value

We really loved our holidays. Michel was a great host, really nice and friendly man, showed us everything on the map, places to go, etc. The apartment is located 3 min walk from the train station, and also trams, buses. We had no problem getting out and about. The shower was beautiful, clean and powerful. The place was spotless.

Very close from all the important attractions in Bordeaux, very gentle and helpful host, all the kitchen appliances you can imagine are in the apartment. Flexible check in and check out if possible. I fully recommend this place.

Great location with the train stations nearby. There was also free parking around the apartment. The host was really helpful, patient and hospitable. When we arrived, he ran through the map of the vicinity and pointed out some key areas to visit during our stay. The room was spacious for us and it came with a small kitchen and toilet. The shower area's located downstairs and it was not an issue for us. There's also a washing machine downstairs, just next to the shower room. In summary, we really enjoyed our stay and the apartment's really comfortable and well-furnished.
