JPMC RE PAYPAL INTL = JPMorgan Chase. It's a payment taken from your bank to fund a purchase if you have no balance in your PayPal account. It's the default setting if you have a bank account on file with PayPal. You can change the funding method to a credit or debit card when you make the payment.

I have also had funds taken from my bank account with the reference JPMC RE PAYPAL INTL LTD

Whilst I appreciate the possible reasoning behind this having read some previous posts, can anyone tell me why this transaction does this not appear on my Paypal activity?

I was just rushing round like a lunatic thinking I had been scammed. I could not see the amount on any of my paypal purchases but on further investigation of the dates found it to be a partial payment. Basically this appears to happen when you pay part with your paypal balance and part with your attached bank account. Look at your paypal transactions and I'm sure you will find the exact amount in one of the transactions within a couple of days as a partial payment.

It has happened to me too - no-one seems to know how to get a refund, the bank won't touch it and PayPal don't seem to know what I'm on about.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
