A Miracle for Smokey
We found Smokey wandering the side of the road and realized he was blind.
The vet discovered that 75% of his kidneys have already shut down, and that he has a heart murmur and high blood pressure. On top of that, he is malnourished, weighing only 6lbs, and 14 years old.
The vet and they said he has about a year left to live.
We believe we can give him a better chance at life with the right support.
He is the sweetest cat, and I know he is not ready to give up either, as he loves to explore and cuddles up close at night with us. My hope is that the care we give him will prolong his life.
