Miami University requiring students to sign pledge to take precautions against COVID-19

OXFORD, Ohio (WKRC) - All students returning to Miami University's campus must sign a "Healthy Together Community Pledge" and commit to take responsibility for their health and help prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Fall classes begin Monday -- mostly remote. However, some graduate classes and some programs will be held in person.

Spaces will be disinfected daily and stations for hand sanitizers are set up around the buildings. Classrooms are set up to allow for social distancing.

Students living off campus are encouraged to stay home until face-to-face courses start Monday, Sept. 21.
