We are using the QCA9377-3 on our board. It is failing to initialize when the temperature is below -10C. This part is rated for -40to85, correct?

The error we are seeing it that it writes to CCCR register 02 (I/O Enable). It then reads register 03 (I/O Ready), expecting a value of 02. But we are getting a value of 00.

Has anyone had a problem with this chip at cold? For a value of 02, what funciton is failing to initialize?

Hi Keith,

Temperature range can vary. Please check with your module vendor.

Thanks.

We are not using a module. We purchased the IC and put it on our board. Please verify the temperature range of the IC.

I may have misunderstood. When you say "module" do you mean the IC? In some place the IC is refered to as a module. I was assuming that you meant a eval module from Silex or Murata.

Are there different versions of the IC with different temperature ratings?

Yes, at room temperature it works fine. It works down to -10C.

The full part number is QCA-9377-3-115WLNSP-SR-03-0 . What is the temperature range for this part?
