Fansipan summit is a breath taking view from suspension cable cab. Buy the tickets one way to the summit, then walking down to visit all the pagodas. Bring along a warm coat, ears cover because the summit weather is unpredictable. The day we visited Fansipan, lowland temperature was 19 degree Celsius with clear sky and fully sunny, by the time we reached the summit around 11am. the temperature was dropped down to 2 degree Celsius with high wind and partial cloudy. Most Sapa villages have unpaved trail, be sure to purchase knee high waterproof boots at the Sapa main market if you plan to visit those villages during rainy season. Bring small Vietnamese currency such as 1000VND or 2000VND if you want to give out to the little kids beggar or for a chance to take a picture with them

Sapa is a bit overhyped thanks to Social Media.
Sapa is a bit overhyped thanks to Social Media. I would stay 4 days in total. Two for hiking, once north, once south (or taking motorbike tours), one for a traditional ethnic workshop like batik or embroidery and one to go up Fansipan, the highest mountain in Indochina.
Sapa is a small city that has become increasingly touristic and you will encounter several places that operate with fake google ratings.

We used Trekking Tour Sapa for some walking trips and they were fantastic.
Mount Fansipane is worth a visit.
Overall the town itself is very touristy and Street vendors are plentiful.

It was disappointed to know that the cable to Fanispan mountain was closed for maintenance only 2 days before our arrival. We had no choice but to proceed to Sa Pa. Nevertheless, we had a good time in Sa Pa as we enjoyed the weather, though a little wet as it was raining most of the time.

Sapa is a great place to visit if you like the highland/...
Sapa is a great place to visit if you like the highland/ mountain landscape.
Most of the time covered in mist and fog, rather cool compared to the rest of Vietnam, it is a good place to visit if you want to explore the rice fields, visit Fansipan "The roof of Indochina", and the local village experience.
If you decide to visit, do expect to find a rather touristic place.
This hotel in central Sapa was a delightful experience. The location was perfect, allowing easy exploration of the city's. The service was outstanding. The staff were not just attentive but genuinely passionate about ensuring guest's comfort. They anticipated needs and responded quickly, always with a warm smile. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-appointed with modern amenities. The beds were comfortable, this hotel is a great choice for anyone seeking comfort, convenience, and superb service
Had an amazing stay here. we arrived early in the morning with the bus from Hanoi and immediately could check in.
also, as the hotel was not booked out, we were upgraded.
we had the best beds, breakfast (buffet with lots of options) and service on our trip to Vietnam.
Mr. Kim and his team made our stay so comfortably- also he helped us booking bus tickets to our next stop and gave us sandwiches for the long trip to Catba. Definitely recommend coming here if staying in Sapa!
Really great hospitality. The hotel just opened 2 months ago. Good food and nice rooms with the best beds and sheets we have had in Vietnam so far. Great views when you wake up, spectacular to see the clouds come and go. We also joined a real local dinner (which was tasty) and nice to learn more about the Vietnamese culture. Besides that the early morning breakfast sandwich to go on the last day (omelette, tomato and cheese) tasted delicious and was outstandingly good.
Very comfortable homestay, centrally located in Sapa Town with the most lovely and helpful staff. They allowed me to check in at 2am, and arranged my night bus to Hanoi at the best possible price including a shuttle to the bus station.
The hotel itself is very new, meaning all facilities are updated and modern. Comfortable beds, complimentary toiletries and they will soon be offering breakfast. Great views from the balcony and rooftop as well!
As you would expect from a 5* hotel it had a 5* service, was only there for 1 night as part of our honeymoon and easily the best hotel we stayed in within Vietnam , views are exceptional and the staff are really friendly and helpful. They booked us a fantastic tour with Ly around the countryside! Room was amazing and they went to extra lengths to celebrate our honeymoon
This homestay is close to sapa station for Fansipan mountain and number of other must see attractions in Sapa as cat cat village .The rooms were clean and really comfy.
The host was really kind and helped us book bus to Hanoi and dropped us to bus stop. The view from room is serene. This hotel comes highly recommended by me for anyone visiting downtown.
I travel 1 month in Vietnam from South to Nord and this hotel is my preferred.
We hade a free early check-in, a lot of good tips to visit Sapa, a moto with a small fee and the girl from the reception is sweet and helpful with everything.
The hotel is very central, with a lot of restaurants nearby and the cable car station.
I definitely recommend it.
Kind and helpful staff, they assisted us with organising tickets to Fanispan, which we appericated. The hotel atmosphere was excellent. Breakfast food was amazing, the best hotel we experienced on our trip to Vietnam.
They were very flexible in letting us check in early, which was appreciated. Snice, we arrived by the overnight bus at 6 am.
Great stay with great service. The room was clean and comfortable. Not far from the station where the trolley leaves for the cable car.
Host treated us to Pho and a big Vietnamese sandwich for breakfast, allowing us to experience local life. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone seeking a convenient and clean stay with friendly service.
The staff were incredibly accommodating and so kind. In particular the front desk staff. The service we received in this hotel was outstanding. The hotel has stunning views and the rooftop pool was perfect for after long treks in the mountains and through the rice fields.
Best breakfast we had on our travels through Vietnam.
Very friendly and helpful staff.
Had couple issues with conditioner but everything was fix.
We was allowed to leave our bag after we checked out.
Also they helped to book tour around villages and a taxi to bus station.
We was very surprised with a gift from the hotel, each of us got a Vietnamese bag.
Really Nice hotel right in the middle of Sapa, lots of nice bars, restaurants and touristy things within walking distance. Room was comfy and clean and the staff were nice too. Had the Nicest breakfast in Vietnam thus far, really good.. Lovely mountain views from rooms too, really nice.
Hard to believe how nice the hotel is for the price we paid. Jaw dropping view from the balcony, great spa, great breakfast, and the staff were so helpful in helping us book tours, taxis, etc. Location is really good, just at the edge of Sapa town. Loved this hotel.
This is my 2nd time back at the same hotel. There are hundreds of boutique hotels and home stays but Sapa Horizon will always be my first choice! The staffs' hospitality and genuine generosity is unwavering even though it was 4.5 years ago I was here.
The room (with a great view) was very nice. Good selection of different meals at breakfast (european and vietnamese food). The services of the staff were outstanding and the location of the hotel is ideal. We would definitely book this hotel again!
The best hotel in Vietnam. The room was big and clean, with a nice view. The pool on the top is nice to calm down and enjoy the landscape. The breakfast buffet was amazing, you have so many options to choose from. The staff is also very kind.
It was the best hotel in Vietnam we stayed in so far (just one stop left).
great Breakfast buffet with a huge variety, spacious very clean room with amazing view, very good gym with all equipment you might need. nice pool area
This hotel was our favourite in Vietnam. The staff are so welcoming and helpful. Rooms were clean and beds so comfortable. And the best was the wonderful view of the mountains and valley.
The flexibility in terms of check in check out and all the arrangements that they did for us. Chau at the reception was exceptional. One of the best hotels during our trip to Vietnam.
The owner of the hotel was awesome, super helpful and lovely. The view us out of this world, definitely worth it! And it’s a great location, very close to Sapa town.
