In a vote that ended March 1, cincinnati.com readers voted for the Cincinnati Enquirer athlete of the week winners for Feb. 18-24, sponsored by TriHealth.

You do not have to be a subscriber to vote, a period that lasts Monday afternoon to Friday at 3 p.m. each week. Please submit any nominees by Monday for the previous week's performances to mlaughman@enquirer.com. The new ballot will be posted Monday. You can vote once an hour from any device.

This week's winners are:

Ohio boys basketball: Ronnie Bowman, New Miami - Bowman, a senior forward, stands out with 10 points and a game-high 19 rebounds in their 76-66 first-round sectional win over Ripley-Union Feb. 23.

Northern Kentucky boys basketball: Kameron Pardee, Walton-Verona – He scored 22 points, going 9-for-14 from the field and 4-for-8 at the line to help the Bearcats beat Simon Kenton in the 32nd District championship game.

Ohio girls basketball: Kendall Hale, West Clermont - The West Clermont sophomore came off the bench and notched her first high school double-double against Fairfield in the Wolves' 61-56 overtime win in the sectional tournament, Feb. 20. Hale scored a career-high 25 points and grabbed a career-high 13 rebounds in the win. She also added two blocks.

Northern Kentucky girls basketball:  Macie Feldman, Notre Dame Academy - The freshman point guard helped the team win district title for the first time in since 2012-13 season, scoring 16 points against Beechwood and 18 points against Holy Cross. She had 5 rebounds and 2 steals against Holy Cross. She was an all-tourney team selection for 35th district.

Boys bowling:  Alex Jones, Batavia - Alex scoring a 659 series (209, 225, 225) at districts Feb. 21, which put him in first place individually and third place overall qualifying him for state next week. At his last meet Feb. 12, the junior scored a 222 and 265 for his individual games for the Bulldogs.

Girls bowling: Caitlin Uecker, Batavia – The sophomore qualified for the DII state tournament after placing ninth in the district meet with a score of 562 over three games.

Ohio boys swimming: Ilusha Gerasimchuk, Wyoming – The senior diver found the top of the podium Wednesday in Canton, recording a score of 452.90 to edge Beachwood's Spencer Bystrom and his score of 451.20 to win the state title. The Grand Valley State commit was also the district champion this year and claimed the Cincinnati Hills League championship, as well.

Northern Kentucky boys swimming: Brendan Conley, Highlands – The senior won a pair of individual medals (200 freestyle, 500 freestyle) and two medals in relays (200 freestyle and 400 freestyle) to reach his maximum of four in the 2019 KHSAA state swimming meet. He and other medalists Jack Banks and Mac Russell, as well as relay medalists, helped Highlands to a third-place team finish.

Ohio girls swimming: Morgan Southall, West Clermont – The University of Kentucky signee recorded a score of 479.55 at Thursday's Division I state diving championships in Canton. Her final dive, a front one and a half somersaults with one twist free, secured the state title for her, making her the first state champion, of any kind in any sport, in West Clermont High School history.

Northern Kentucky girls swimming: Caroline Sand, Highlands – She finished seventh in the 100 freestyle to earn a medal in the 2019 KHSAA state swimming meet.

Wrestling:  Alex Coleman, Ross – He won the heavyweight class over Shroder by pin in 28 seconds to help Ross win the Division II sectional at Batavia.

Gymnastics: Tiyanna Woodruff, Lakota East – She placed third in the vault and fourth in the bars to advance to the state gymnastics tournament.
