Of course there would be bombs and thermite in the buildings, they would be there to create distracting arguments and confusion. Above all the fact of a "free energy" weapon must be concealed, there is no better way to conceal such a phenomenon than to supply as many conventional distractions as possible. (more below)
Very few people are accustomed to rigorous thinking by scientific method. It's easy to see that even the host here is not a scientific thinker, he; like most people; think in terms of logical musings, not to rigorously exclude what isn't or cannot yet be known. So that, like the host here, it's easy to confuse them and therefore others. Judy Woods is a trained scientific thinker and she doesn't let him side track her, but she still has to waste time fending of his distractions. Among the general public you are going to be hard pressed to find people who will only discuss the facts that have been collected and surmise how more facts might be found/discovered. Rather than going off on some tangent or other, discussing what might be this or that, departing far afield of what is known and even rejecting some of what is actually known.
As far as planes hitting the buildings the host is badly misinformed. He should be saying that "It is rumored that people saw planes hit the buildings", because, when you dig into the matter you will find that there were no such witnesses. There should be lots of videos of a plane striking the second tower right? Why do all these videos have different sounds, while filming the same event? That's hard evidence, the soft evidence is that; did you know that all of the photos and films were taken by people who had jobs as professionals in media industries? Try to imagine yourself on 9-11, watching the north tower smoking and not reaching for your camera. Yet, it appears that only professionals did so.
How about those different sounds on their videos? The gov't insists they have radar tracking that shows the planes heading for the towers at or above 500 mph. Okay, I thought the interceptors couldn't find the targets? You do know that the interceptors have radar on their aircraft, eh? If these planes showed up on any radar the interceptors should have also been able to find them. Okay, if a jet liner is flying at 500 mph below 10k feet, you're going to hear this earsplitting 108 decibel screaming roar, the the "eye witnesses" heard nothing! Captain Scully landed his jet on the Hudson with both engines off and still it generated 119 calls to 911 from Riverside drive residents. Air force One was flown low over the Statue of Liberty and that generated lots of 911 calls as well. Yet here come two heavy jets, ostensibly screaming along at 500 mph without generating a sound. There's more you can find it on the pages in this blog, very good/strong circumstantial evidence and also some very hard evidence, but the preponderance of it all says: no planes were used on 911, just illusions and distractions.
