Applicants wishing to join the part-time mode must submit their application as full-time, and then include a note in the comments box of the application form, denoting their preference to be considered for the part-time option. Such requests will be considered by the Board of the Faculty.
In this programme of study, the 'Classics' is used as an umbrella term that will take you back to Ancient Greece, where you will academically familiarise yourself with the mythology, society, literature and linguistics, history and art of the Greek Islands. During your course of studies you will be able to have a basic understanding of the Greek and Latin languages and read key texts in their respective original languages. You will be able to understand the influence that this ancient world has had on our contemporary one, while also enriching your cultural and historic mindset by participating in interdisciplinary action. You are also encouraged to participate in the Erasmus+ mobility period, for a multicultural and diversified learning experience.

The programme in German will give you an academic perspective at the Germanic language in terms of linguistics, literature and culture. During the course we will instil within you a deep appreciation for the language by helping you refine and hone your lexical, syntactic and grammatical abilities in all of the language's mediums. Your heightened insight in history and culture will prove invaluable in the work field, and you will gain a better understanding of how the contemporary state of the German language and Germany itself have been affected by key historical events. We also encourage you to participate in the Erasmus+ mobility programme, as we believe a diversified and multicultural experience will give you a holistic academic journey.
Communication and Academic Skills Programme
The communication and academic skills programme complements students’ main course of study. It introduces them to writing and presenting as situated within academic contexts sensitive to specific disciplines and develops their competences for future careers.
