- Bluebells Walk at Little HarwoodLittle Harwood , Cookham, AL
For anyone unable to make our first Bluebell Walk at Little Harwood recently, David and Margaret Harrold have kindly invited us back on May 8th at 10am. Traditionally there have still been plenty of Bluebells to see on that date, and the cowslips in the adjacent meadow are also a treat for the eye amongst the numerous other wildflowers on display. Parking will be on the left half-way up the drive but be aware that Sat Nav often sends drivers well past the gated entrance which is just 40m west of the junction of Choke Lane and Spring Lane at SU 86864 84075, (format.comedians.myth).
This is a really delightful way to spend a morning, here are some shots from a previous event.

WildCookham is pleased to invite members to join in our next 'What's About' walk on June 3rd at 10am at one of our favourite venues, the Odney Club. We will park in the car park at the club (the concrete or woodland sections depending on what else is happening there that day) and then meeting near the main gate pavement before setting off around the grounds. We are delighted to be joined by Alan Holmes, one of the region's top dragonfly experts, who will be helping us find the numerous species of these fascinating insects that are present on the estate.
