How do I set the property of a text field to be right aligned?

TIA,

You can do that with a text control on a form. Maybe it can be done in a
table, but you don't edit using tables, do you?

Assuming you mean a text control on a form:

Design view/properties/Text align - whichever you want.

If I tell you how, will you promise not to use it? ;-)

Seriously, as Bas said, you should never work on data in
table view. It is not user friendly and too many thing can
go wrong. **Always** create a form to add/edit/view the
data in a table.

That said (as emphatically as I can) you can set the field's
Format property to asterisk space (* ) to right align the
text when it's displayed in table view. Access seems to
insist on changing that to two asterisks (I don't know why),
but it works for me.
