The New Jersey Opioid Settlement Advocacy Group (NJ-OSAG), a grassroots coalition of individuals in recovery, family members, and community organizations, is calling on state leaders to ensure that opioid settlement funds are allocated to those most impacted by the opioid crisis. Over 500 individuals and more than 25 organizations throughout the 21 counties, have signed on in support of the NJ Roadmap for Opioid Settlement Funds. As the country faces an uncertain budgetary landscape, it is critical that these funds and interest earned on unspent funds remain dedicated to recovery, and prevention efforts rather than being diverted to other uses.
