Wzorce do badań ultradźwiękowych winny mieć na względzie nastawę głowicy I czułość elektroniczną za każdym razem gdy zachodzi potrzeba ich wykorzystania. Wzorce winny zostać wyprodukowane zgodnie z określoną specyfikacją techniczną. Wszystkie wzorce winny być okresowo sprawdzane pod kątem :
• badanie wizualne na sprawdzanie takich wad jak skorodowanie I uszkodzenia mechaniczne
• badanie pod katem wymiarów i promienia przy użyciu sprzętu zatwierdzonego w normach krajowych i międzynarodowych
Tam gdzie wzorce są zrobione z tego samego materiału co i materiał poddany badaniom raport końcowy winien wykazywać stan kalibracji wzorców. W każdym wypadku prędkość przeniesienia impulsu przez materiał wzorca winien zostać pomierzony i archiwizowany, chyba, że przedsiębiorstwo jest w stanie inaczej odzwierciedlić historię stosowania wzorca. Prawidłowo działające urządzenia BNN, głowice, kable winny być sprawdzane regularnie a wyniki kontroli zapisywane. Potwierdzanie ich sprawności winna być zgodne z dokumentacją kontrolną.
Zestawy do badań ultradźwiękowych winny być sprawdzane codziennie lub za każdym razem gdy sprzęt jest wykorzystywany do badań i powinno to obejmować:
• badanie wizualne sprawdzające czy nie ma uszkodzeń
• wzorcowanie podstawy czasu
• liniowości wzmocnienia sprzętu
Realizacja charakterystyki głowic ultradźwiękowych i systemów winny być badane w następujący sposób:
Przynajmniej raz dziennie lub przed użyciem
• środek głowicy skośnej
• kąt wiązki głowicy
Wstępnie, a następnie raz na tydzień
• czułość i stosunek sygnału do poziomu szumów
• trwałość impulsu
Defektoskopy ultradźwiękowe winny być sprawdzane regularnie ale nie później niż co 12 miesięcy zgodnie ze specyfikacją kontrolną obejmującą:
• liniowość podstawy czasu
• liniowość wzmacniacza
• badanie dokładności wzorowanego tłumienia
Dla potrzeb wzorowania sprzęt stosowany do kalibracji w przedsiębiorstwie winien być potwierdzony zgodnie z zasadami ujętymi w normach krajowych i międzynarodowych w postaci odpowiedniego świadectwa wydanego przez odpowiednią instytucję akredytującą. Urządzenia do badań, głowice i kable łączące winny być odpowiednio magazynowane. Wzorce odniesienia winny być odpowiednio magazynowane, tak by nie były narażone na korozję. Tam gdzie stosuje się sprzęt elektroniczny dużą wagę należy przywiązać do kwalifikacji i szkolenia operatorów, system identyfikacji wad i zachowywania danych. Kontrola powinna potwierdzić i zabezpieczyć pozycję głowicy w odniesieniu do sygnału nadania
Translation - English Ultrasonic Equipment - calibration and calibration intervals Ultrasonic calibration blocks shall be used to set up the assembly of probe and sensory electronics, each time the equipment is used. The blocks shall be manufactured in accordance with the appropriate specification.
All blocks shall be verified at specified intervals as follows: o visual examination for deterioration such as corrosion or mechanical damage o radius and other dimensional checks using equipment traceable to national or international standards
Where calibration blocks made from the material of the product under test are used for
setting up, the final test report should indicate the calibration status of the test blocks. In all such cases the transmission velocity of the pulse through the block material should be measured and recorded, unless the organisation has alternative methods to demonstrate the traceability of the block. The correct functioning of testing units, probes and connecting cables shall be checked at regular intervals; the results shall be documented. Verification shall be against the controlling specifications.
Ultrasonic test sets shall be verified daily or each time the equipment is used including:
o visual checks for damage
o linearity of time base
o calibration of time base
o linearity of equipment gain
The performance characteristics of ultrasonic probes and the systems should be checked as follows:
at least once per day or before use
o probe index
o probe beam angle
initially, then at least once per week
o sensitivity and signal to noise ratio
o pulse duration
Ultrasonic flaw detectors shall be verified at intervals not exceeding twelve months in
accordance with the controlling specification, including:
o linearity of time base
o linearity of amplifier
o accuracy of calibrated attenuator
The calibration of reference measuring equipment used for in-house calibration shall be traceable to national standards and shall be evidenced by a certificate, issued by an accredited organisation.
Testing units, probes and connecting cables should be carefully stored. Reference blocks, control specimens and calibration blocks should be stored in such a way as to prevent corrosion occurring. Where automated test equipment is used, special attention shall be paid to the qualifications and training of operators, the system for the identification of defects, and data storage.
Checks should be made to ensure the correct geometric position of the probe in relation to the output signal.
