The Delta-8 CB2 Cannabinoid has been one of the world's best kept secrets for over sixty years. The Delta-8 THC product comes in a few different forms, including oils, pills and capsules. The oils are often used in massage therapy and SPA treatments. The other form is the delta-8 CBD, which may be the most important development in pharmaceuticals since SPA was born. Delta-8 cannabis extracts are currently under investigation by several major pharmaceutical companies.
How to get Delta-8 from hemp was the question that intrigued me as a young college student. It seemed too good to be true, but as it turns out the Delta 8 THC products and CBD products are not just smoke and mirrors. While I wasn't directly involved in the pharmaceutical cannabis industry, I did work for five years as a consultant for a biotech firm that researched medical marijuana. The company, Celera Health, was one of the first publicly held bio-tech companies to receive funding from private investors in a large round of financing.
I had long discussed with colleagues about the Delta-8 cannabis extract with regards to how to get Delta-8 from hemp. In fact, one of my former co-workers is now a qualified attorney that represents people that were arrested under the Controlled Substances Act as a result of carrying Delta-8 THC. Delta-8 in itself does not cause intoxication, but does have the ability to fool the user into believing that the THC in the system has been extracted by distilling the plant. This is the same reason that people who suffer from schizophrenia and post-traumatic stress disorder often turn to Delta-8 CBD for a calming influence. Many of the synthetic cannabidiol products on the market today are derived from Delta-8.
The Delta-8 THC which you can get at Area52 is not the only Delta-8 CBD being distributed today. There is an entire line of products derived from hemp that include Delta-8 CBD. Delta-8 in itself is a tasteless, odorless drug that is taken in the form of a liquid, capsule or oral spray. It is taken in conjunction with other herbal, botanical, and spice extracts in an effort to produce Delta-8 CBD products that mimic the effects of THC, but do not cause the same mental side effects. Most Delta-8 CBD products are produced in Canada.
The question becomes, how to get Delta 8 from hemp without ruining the entire crop? Fortunately, there are methods that can be employed to reduce the risk of damage to the hemp crop. First, it is important to remember that CBD is not an addictive substance like the much more famous cannabis. With this in mind, a grower should ensure that they do not have a large crop to deal with in the way of weeds. Even if a grower does have the proper precautions taken to manage the risks associated with Delta-8, the crop could still suffer if the proper conditions for growing Delta-8 fail. One method to manage Delta-8 without damaging the crop is to make sure the soil is not overly acidic.
Next, it is important to know how to get Delta-8 from hemp without causing a strain on farmers who work with hemp. Growers should research the different types of hemp used in the cultivation of medical marijuana and determine which crop would best fit their needs. While some hemp growers prefer tall stalks, others prefer shorter stalks to help them keep yields low. Delta-8 CBD is used in a variety of medical marijuana crops, including flower, root, and aerial varieties. This means that any potential damage done by hemp to the Delta-8 crop would most likely be limited to the types of crops produced instead of directly hitting the hemp crop.
