Swift over Craigallian Loch

Monday morning walk along a stretch of the West Highland Way past Craigallian Loch. Lovely to watch a large number of swifts and a few swallows gliding and swerving over the water feeding on insects. According to the RSPB guide some birds catch up to 10,000 flying insects a day when feeding their young! 
The West Highland Way was busy today, we must have been passed by at least 100 walkers in the hour and a half we were there
