The Role: We are currently actively seeking a time served and qualified Electronics / Electrically biased Engineer to expand our multi-skilled design team. Responsibilities: Define design specifications from customer requirements and carry out the resulting design activities. Carry out technical investigations. Creation of high-quality reports, design files and other documentation for delivery to customers. Component selection and providing technical support to procurement. Write design verification plans / hardware test procedures and perform hands on testing of hardware. Contribute to bid preparation / quotations. Work closely with customer engineering teams. Support senior management. Knowledge, Skills and Experience: Degree Qualified Schematics Capture and Circuit Simulation analogue and digital. Altium and LTSpice or Zuken CR-8000 PLC Programming Good understanding of Engineering Best Practice. Additional experience or awareness in any of the following would be beneficial: o EMC and Environmental Compliance / CE or UKCA Marking. o PCB Layout & Design o Firmware Development. o Manufacturing Processes, BOM, Machining Processes, Materials. o Defence / Aerospace industry experience PLEASE NOTE: The successful candidate MUST be eligible for National Security Vetting (SC level).
