Job description

At humanITcare we have a strong purpose, to make the world’s health data useful so that people enjoy healthier lives and we are looking for a Junior Frontend Developer with a passion for programming and with a desire to improve people's health by building the reference platform of telemedicine. This role would be suitable for candidates with the right skills and mindset who also share the humanITcare values and make an active contribution to achieve our vision.

As a Backend Engineer your main responsabilities will be:

Write reusable, testable and efficient code.
Create RESTful APIs.
Create data clients to consume RESTful APIs.
Integrate data storage solutions, including databases.
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Implement security and data protection.
Implement user-facing "widgets"(frontend MVPs) to interact with server-side logic.
Run applications in different types of environments.

Requirements

Ability to script in Python.
Ability to script and manipulate data in Javascript.
Experience working with one or more relational databases.
Familiarity with an ORM (preferable SQLAlchemy).
Ability to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system.
Knowledge of user authentication and authorization between multiple systems,
servers and environments.
Knowledge of serverless functions.
Proficient understanding of Git.
Basic understanding of front-end technologies.
English is a plus.
