CLE CREDIT: 1.00 - OTHER Many legal professionals rely heavily on Microsoft Word to draft legal documents, but they often do not know how to maximize accuracy and efficiency using its built-in functions and tools. This 60-minute presentation will focus on several Word features that will reduce frustrating auto-formatting problems, improve accuracy of content, increase efficiency, and reduce inadvertent disclosure of confidential information. Attendees should have a basic understanding of Word, such as how to create a new document and how to cut/paste - and should have basic computer skills, such as knowing how to right-click a mouse. Prior to joining the King County Law Library, he worked in several libraries in Texas. Ross received his M.L.I.S. from The University of North Texas in 2019, and his B.S. in Advertising from the University of Texas, in Austin, Texas, in 2014.
