Canes -2018 Camp Niantic Fundraiser

The 2018 NBHS Hurricanes Football Season is just around the corner!  The team has been working hard this off-season and is looking forward to their best season yet!  To that end, the team as in years past wants to return to Camp Niantic this year for the annual pre-season training camp held by the CT Army National Guard in August, 8/16-8/19.  Attending camp will give the team the opportunity to prepare for the season, hone their skills, and bond as a team.  More importantly, the kids will learn important life lessons through the game they love!  They learn teamwork, accountability, punctuality, discipline, how to challenge themselves and how to work together to overcome obstacles!

Camp Niantic is a great experience for the players and this year the Canes need your help in raising the funds needed to pay for attending camp!
The catering cost for the meals of a team of 70 kids is roughly $3,000 per day!  The total cost of camp is a bit over $10,000 for 4 days.  Unless we can raise the funds to help pay for the meals, the kids will be burdened with paying too high a cost for camp, which most kids cannot afford!
