RCSD Updates and Resources About COVID-19

The Rochester City School District is committed to providing families and staff with updates on COVID-19, commonly referred to as coronavirus, as the situation is rapidly evolving. 

RCSD COVID-19 Support Hotline

The Rochester City School District has established a hotline for families regarding COVID-19 resources.

Meals During School Closures

In collaboration and support from the City of Rochester, meals and recreation are available for city school-age children in Rochester.

Student Placement Services

The deadline for entering the School Choice Lottery has been extended until Thursday, April 30.

Computer Usage and Internet Service While Schools are Closed

Beginning on Monday, April 6, the Rochester City School District will begin providing a Chromebook to any student in grades 6 through 12 who has not yet received one this school year.

Additional COVID-19 Resources

The RCSD Family Help Desk is an online resource for parents to submit questions. District staff will send a response to parent question(s) based on an e-mail address provided at registration.

RCSD Learns includes e ducational resources for families to use outside of school walls. If your child does not know their student ID or password, please call our Support hotline at 585-262-8700.
