Quickly separate the bag from the frame and carry any load between the bag and frame. Compression straps built into the frame offer secure compression for quarters, boned-out meat, load cells, or similar items.

All K4 Bags feature roll-top access into the main bag. The roll-top also allows you to expand/contract the pack volume as more/less space is needed.
Efficient Zip Access
In addition to the roll-top access into the main bag, all K4 Packs feature front zip access. The K4 5000 has horseshoe-shaped zip access, while the K4 3600 & K4 7200 feature a full-length straight side zip.

Built with stretch material, both sides of every K4 bag feature top-entry side pockets that work great for tripods, trekking poles, water bottles, and the like. The pack's upper side compression strap keeps tall items secure.

Laser-cut MOLLE panels on the hipbelt and shoulder harness offer secure mounting of K4 Accessories, as well as 3rd-party MOLLE-compatible accessories and holsters.
K4 Lid Included
Every K4 Pack System comes with the K4 Lid. The lid offers two storage compartments that add nearly 650ci to the pack's capacity. The lid also works great as a compression panel when packing out a skull and antlers at the end of a successful hunt.

Integrated compression straps on the face of the pack work great to secure your bow to the bag. For rifles, we have a Quick-Release Rifle Carrier accessory, or you can also strap your rifle directly to the face or side of the pack.

After 60 days of using and abusing the K4 Prototype last fall, I can confidently say that it is the most comfortable, complete, and capable hunting pack that I have ever owned. It was clearly created for serious hunters, by serious hunters.
The new K4 is the best pack I have used to date. I used a K4 Prototype on 5 big game hunts this past fall and could tell that it was strategically built for comfort and is tough enough to withstand the most extreme hunting and backpacking adventures.
I love the simplicity of the K4! It has everything you need, and nothing you don’t! After testing the K4 Prototype last year, I was thrilled with the new system to detach the bag from the frame. And the new hipbelt design provides a noticeable increase in comfort.

This pack was a large investment for me (and I’m sure many others who have chosen to purchase it). EXO’s service and commitment to their customers and their values are second-to-none. This pack has proved its value to me each time I’ve used it.
It might be slightly unconventional for a regular guy like myself to own this pack; I go on 4 or 5 overnight hunting trips a year (only one of which being long/remote enough to warrant a 5000ci pack), but I have 2 kids and spend a lot of time in the woods with them canoeing, hiking, snowshoeing, etc. This pack has been an absolute life saver for anyone who is tasked with carrying nearly everyone else’s gear for a family camping trip or hike.
A couple things I love most:
The locking buckles EXO sent with the pack. They’ve made it so easy to fasten multiple sets of snowshoes, trekking poles, etc onto the pack quickly without worrying about them coming loose or falling off.
The dry bag insert.
The dry bag insert completely transformed how we canoe-camp. I can worry less about access/portages now knowing that I can carry absolutely everything in one pack AND the canoe, and my toddler can get himself to the next put-in.
I use this pack as a day pack most often, and I had concerns that it would be too large. I talked with Mark a few times as I was very close to ordering the 3600 but was concerned it wouldn’t be large enough for me due to my lack of packable gear. Mark steered me toward the 5000 and I’m glad he did. The horseshoe zipper is my favorite feature, and the bag collapses down to nothing when it’s lightly loaded.
I initially wasn’t able to use the stuff pockets at the bottom, but I rerouted the compression straps through the relief hole that EXO integrated which makes it possible to use those pockets even with the bag fully compressed. Great design on their part.
This bag will likely last the rest of my life, and I can’t imagine why I wouldn’t someday be passing this pack down to my son/daughter. It was a great investment and I’m very glad I chose the EXO.

The Exo isn’t just the best pack you can get for the money, it’s the best pack you can get. Weight, features, and durability are top notch. Extremely comfortable, it is the easiest pack to hunt with I’ve ever used. I can access specific pieces of equipment really quickly with full length zippers, multiple access points on main compartments, and great accessories. This pack is designed and organized far superior to the most expensive packs you can buy. It’s the only pack system I’ll use.

Pack was the most comfortable of the three I tested with a 60# load. Just wish the crib panel mounted higher to get loads up on your back for training purposes.

After much deliberation and research I decided that I should try the Exo k4 5000 pack. Having not hiked or rucked in any serious capacity for over 8 years I was a little concerned on pack fitment and weight of the pack with the gear I needed. The first weekend after having the pack I did a 9 mile hike in and camp with the pack carrying around 40 pounds of gear, the pack could very very easily handle much more than that. This thing is amazing. I had zero hot spots or any soreness that I had previously experienced with other packs. The fitment is awesome and intuitive and if that's not enough the crew at Exo have put together awesome tutorial videos on fitment and setup of the pack that played a serious role in getting the pack dialed in to fit me perfectly. To say I am more than happy with my purchase would be an understatement. Everything on this pack is so well thought out and easy to use and configure.
