Customer Reviews
Awesome!
This podcast is great. Nathan is a great guy and a great host. His guests are some of the top musicians in Canada, the conversations are good, the music is good. You can’t go wrong.
Interesting, Informing and educational
This is a really worthwhile series of podcasts. As a professional pianist who KNOWS some of these guests it is really interesting to me to hear some of my friends and colleagues (and others) talk about their art, and how they learned how they do what they do.
While drawing out their stories and concepts with good questions, Nathan does a great job of letting these great musicians talk without interruption when they get on a roll.
This podcast is a ‘must listen’ for music students, professionals of any age, and fans of jazz music who want to dig a little deeper into learning about the process of music making.
If this podcast can keep going it will prove to be a valuable archive and record of great musicians who are mostly ignored by mainstream media.
This is what podcasts should be ALL ABOUT.
Great podcast
As a jazz student in Toronto and a frequent listener of podcasts, I am a big fan of the Body Electric. Hearing Nathan talk to some of my favourite local players while introducing me to new ones is fantastic!
