Large room and bath. Very comfortable. Continental breakfast was very good. Ample parking. Hosts were available to answer requests or questions, but never intrusive. During stay, sold out, but room was quiet.

The hosts are absolutely amazing and so thoughtful! I am vegan and most of the time I have to always remind people that, but these guys were the most caring hosts I’ve come across and even the biscuits in my room were vegan. The breakfast was great with a few vegan options for me. The whole stay was absolutely brilliant! Also electric charger available, which makes it even more convenient.

2nd stay. Comfy room with great little touches such as water in the room and a selection of toiletries. Breakfast is plentiful, much of the fare - yoghurt and bread homemade. Very restful stay.

The rain! 😊

We loved the large garden with its meadow area and beautiful views. Parking area has electric for cars. Inside the house is tastefully decorated. We arrived on a stormy day; Tim lit the fire for us in the evening and we enjoyed their beautiful sitting room. We were late arriving but this did not phase Helen or Tim. Nice people.

It was like an Oasis in the desert. We had been involved in a terrible road traffic accident and had no way of getting home. And not only was this property a safe haven the whole place was divine and decorated and furnished to an exquisite standard. Our hosts were beyond helpful in our time of need and let us stay until our onward journey was arranged. Tim and Helen were amazing- even giving us the itinerary of our journey home by train and refreshments for the journey. We truly found a couple of guardian angels that day. We will definitely return under better circumstances- THANK YOU from Sandra and Gary xxx

Helen and Tim are great hosts. The vicarage is just up the road from Newtown and a nice pub nearby. The grounds were great and the rooms immaculate and finished really nice and with very comfortable beds. Wifi is good and there are smart tv`s in the rooms. There is charging for electric cars. The breakfast was amazing with lots of locally sourced different options. Stunning scenery all around. Our family group loved it and we will be looking forward to staying there again. thanks for a lovely stay.

The breakfast choices were wide and very well cooked, where relevant. The room was very comfortable, and we also had use of a sitting room with plenty of sofas! Helen and Tim were able to advise on where best to eat in the evening. They were very helpful hosts.

Gem of a place with fabulous views all round. Great hosts and lovely breakfast (fabulous cooking and ingredients). Being able to charge our EV so easily was brilliant. Would definitely stay here again.
