The Russian Aerospace Forces have received a new batch of Su-35S multi-role fighters.

The United Airlines Corporation reported about this on its Telegram account.

The new fighters were constructed at the Komsomolsk-on-Amur Aircraft Plant, which holds the primary manufacturing facilities for modern fighters.

According to the manufacturer, this batch of Su-35S fighters will be the last one this year. In December, the company is to deliver another batch of Su-57 fighters to the Russian Aerospace Forces.

The manufacturer does not disclose the exact number of aircraft, but judging by the photo, the Russian Aerospace Forces received two aircraft.

Prior to the handover, the fighters underwent a full cycle of tests and test flights to confirm the declared characteristics and proper operation of the aircraft systems.

This year, the UAC handed over about 12 Su-35S fighters to the customer in five batches, which are currently serving in the aggressor’s air force.

In addition to the Russian Federation, the fighter is also offered to the export market. For example, in 2015, the Chinese Ministry of Defense signed a contract to purchase 24 Su-35S fighters worth $2.5 billion.

China received the first batch of four fighters in December 2016. The fighters landed at the Chinese Air Force training base in Cangzhou, Hebei Province, in northern China. China received the second batch of 10 units in 2017, and in 2018, the aircraft formed the first unit.

Currently, the 6th Aviation Brigade of the Chinese Air Force uses this type of aircraft, where they replaced J-11 jet fighters (a licensed copy of the Soviet-era Su-27SK). Along with the Su-35, the brigade is also equipped with J-16 fighters and Su-30MKK multirole fighters.

As Militarnyi previously reported, the Russian Aerospace Forces received a batch of new Su-34 fighter-bombers. The exact number of transferred aircraft has not been disclosed, but the amount is expected to be two fighter-bombers.

These aircraft are the third batch of modernized Su-34Ms delivered to the military of the aggressor country in 2023 and the sixth batch of modernized Su-34Ms ordered by the Russian Ministry of Defense in 2020.
