Players of the week, Feb. 12-19, by sport as voted by cincinnati.com readers are:

Northern Kentucky boys basketball: Wyatt Vieth, St. Henry – He had 24 points in a 66-60 win over Holy Cross Feb. 16 and 19 in a loss to Newport Feb. 13.

Ohio boys basketball: Eric Hoeffel, Madeira – He tied the school record for three-pointers in a game with 8 and setting his new career high of 26 points Feb. 10 against Taylor.

Northern Kentucky girls basketball: Tessa Gieske, Boone County – She had 22 points in a 47-40 win over Notre Dame Academy Feb. 14.

Ohio girls basketball: Jessica Chase, Williamsburg – The junior scored 21 points in Williamsburg’s opening tournament game win over St. Bernard Feb. 17 and also scored 29 points in the Wildcats’ win over Western Brown Feb. 12.

Boys bowling: Colin Fritz, Cincinnati Christian – He bowled a high series of 391 to help his team win the third straight Miami Valley Conference title Feb. 13.

Girls bowling: Crystal Wilson, Cincinnati Christian – She bowled a high series of 312 to help her team win the Miami Valley Conference title for the second straight year.

Boys swimming and diving: Jonah Karschnik, Williamsburg – The freshman swimmer finished 3rd in the 100-meter butterfly and 4th place in the 500 freestyle at districts and qualified for state meet. He is Williamsburg’s only swimmer.

Girls swimming and diving: Lucy Callard, Seven Hills – She set a district record in the 500 freestyle, an event where she will be top seeded heading into the state meet. She also qualified for state in the 200 freestyle.

Wrestling: Kobey Bronaugh, Milford - Kobey won his second ECC title this past weekend at 126 lbs. He won four matches by fall in a total of 2 minutes and 18 seconds. In addition to winning the ECC, he won his 102nd match, becoming Milford’s seventh 100-match career winner and first to do it as a junior.

Gymnast: Lena Bercz, Turpin – She won the vault, floor and bars at the Cincinnati City High School Gymnastics Championships Feb. 17, winning All-Around.
