Bunch O Balloons is the #1 Selling Toy in Q1 and Q2 2017 for the 2nd Year in a Row

TSIM SHA TSUI, Hong Kong--()--Leading international toy and consumer products company, ZURU™, announced today that Bunch O Balloons is once again the #1 selling toy in Q1 and Q2 of 2017 in the U.S. for the second year in a row across all categories. The Kickstarter sensation and innovative water balloon line had the biggest sales at retail to date in 2017, increasing by 46% year-over-year across major retailers based on retailer sales data. The aggressive marketing campaign generated over 2 billion media impressions resulting in the Bunch O Balloons 3 pack recording its biggest single week of sales to date during the week beginning July 2nd.

Bunch O Balloons creates over 100 water balloons in 60 seconds with a patented and ground-breaking design. The 2017 line included Minions-licensed Bunch O Balloons and the Filler Soaker, which fills up Bunch O Balloons without the need for a water hose, and doubles as a water blaster that shoots water up to 30 feet. ZURU plans to build on the success of the line with exciting new launches and more product innovations for 2018 including a new license and a play on waterslides.

The comprehensive marketing campaign included a partnership with preeminent global dance brand, World of Dance, featuring a series of events including the #UnleashSummer Challenge and the epic #SplashMob pool party, which created unique and engaging influencer-driven and user-generated content highlighting Bunch O Balloons as the must-have outdoor toy for summer.
