Trustees' Week 2018 Seminar Invitation

Regulatory update seminar for charity trustees.

Trustees' Week 12 -16 November 2018
Trustees do an amazing job; 700,000 people in the UK devote at least 5 hours of their own time per week at a combined estimated time value of £3.5 billion per annum. That's an incredible level of support to the UK charity sector.

But where do trustees go for their own support?

The 2017 report Taken on Trust  found only 6% of trustees seek guidance or training from an external provider. It is crucial for trustees to seek outside support and keeping up to date on legislation and sector developments is vital if they are to reduce the risk their charity is exposed to.

Higgs & Sons Charity and Not for Profit team understand the challenges faced by trustees. Our specialists have developed relationships with trustees from a range of organisations, providing advice and support to ensure they have the tools and information to continue the crucial work their charity carries out to individuals, groups and communities in and around the UK.

Join us on Wednesday 14 November as part of National Trustees' Week for a comprehensive update on the latest issues affecting the not for profit sector, including a GDPR post-implementation update from an employment expert, navigating the regulatory tightrope, addressing the diversity of your Board and the latest developments in charity accounting.
