#LicensePlateLinda: White Woman Calls Cops on Black Family Then Damages License Plates and Cars, Gets Arrested

Domonique Duskin made a Facebook post that has been shared more than 10,000 times chronicling the actions of #LicensePlateLinda, who follows in the footsteps of #BBQBecky, #PermitPatty and #PoolPatrolPaula — calling the authorities on Black people for existing.

Duskin said that she was at a family gathering at her cousin’s home in Colerain Township, Ohio. Her cousin’s neighbor Linda Shad tried to “get all of our cars towed because we were blocking my cousin’s driveway,” the July 8 post reads.

Duskin said that the cars didn’t block Shad’s driveway “or anyone else’s property except [for] my cousin’s.”

Shad called the police, but “the police came [and] did nothing but pretty much told Linda to go in her house and mind her business,” according to Duskin.

She said the family went back to the party, but as people were preparing to leave, “Linda and her family decided they were going to bend everybody’s license plates, key cars, and pretty much damage people’s property.”

Duskin and her family then called the authorities.

“[The police] started fingerprinting the tags and by the time they got to the fourth car Linda confessed, and Colerain Township locked her bi**h a** up,” Duskin wrote.

Shad, 53, is facing one disorderly conduct charge and five criminal damaging charges, according to
The Cincinnati Enquirer. She was arrested Saturday night in the 2900 block of Bentbrook Drive. Shad is no longer in jail and her arraignment is scheduled for Tuesday morning.

Marvin Shelton, who was hosting the family get-together, told the newspaper Shad got upset that vehicles were blocking a driveway.
“No cars were blocking her driveway. It shouldn’t have been bothering her,” he said.

He also said Shad has called authorities on him dozens of times in the 13 years he’s lived in his house.

Officers perceived Shad to be heavily intoxicated, according to a police report.

“Shout out to Colerain for doing their due diligence cause it could’ve went differently …,” Duskin said of authorities.
Duskin included in her post photos of the damaged license plates and cars along with photos of police documents filed against Shad.
