Message from the Director

Local government has a major impact upon our daily lives on a regular basis. It could be argued that it is even greater than the role of the state or even federal government because it affects us every single day and has the most immediate impact upon our quality of life. The local election on Tuesday, April 3 will be one of the most important in North Attleborough’s history. Please exercise your right to vote on the future of the town.

Birds Come to the Library for April
April brings birds to Richards Memorial Library. There will be a display by Attleboro Art Teacher Lindsay Nygaard of her paintings of birds in our downstairs art gallery. The main book display will feature books about birds or with birds in the title. Throughout the library will be pictures and artwork of birds in a kind of scavenger hunt. Bring your children to find the birds and to count the birds in the children’s room.

Children’s programs include Kids With Unique Animals! on April 7, at 10 am. For the Children’s school spring vacation, we have Miss Sue and her music and movement on Thursday, April 19, at 9:45 am for children from birth through three years old, and at 10:30 am for children three through six years old.
