Museums In Peoples Homes 2023 

Would you like a museum to come and visit you in your home? 

Working with furniture designers Plaey, Joshua Sofaer has created a mobile museum comprising 14 separate artworks, each representing the collection of a local collector living in Leeds, each with a fascinating and unique story to tell. 

We are currently looking for people based in Leeds who would be interested in experiencing this unique performance in their own homes between the 24th June - 2nd July 2023. You can choose to host the museum for just your own household, or you can invite friends and family around to share in the experience. This project is completely free to take part in.

The performance features a mobile museum, assembled by Joshua and an assistant at the start of the performance. The space required for the built museum is approximately the size of a double-door fridge/freezer. There will also need to be some space around the structure.
