Head of a Woman

Pablo Picasso Spanish

Not on view

During the summer of 1922, in a little studio at Dinard, in Brittany, Picasso produced a number of exceptional drawings. This work is one of the largest. It recalls the frescoes that had impressed Picasso on his 1917 trip to Rome and Naples.
