1 Prize

  • This raffle is for a Jackson Pro SL2Q Alien Burst Electric Guitar from the Andertons TV video room, signed by The Captain & Danish Pete! Here's what Jackson say about the SL2Q: Unlock your full potential as a player with the innovative Jackson Pro Soloist SL2Q MAH, the final word in high-tech guitar design. A high performance evolution of the electric guitar, this ergonomic instrument opens up new horizons of playability, resetting the bar of what’s possible in guitar design. Body & Neck Premium features include a mahogany body with quilt maple top and one-piece through-body maple neck with scarf joint and graphite reinforcement rods to provide stiffness and high stability, guarding against temperature- and humidity-induced bending and warping. The SL2’s 12”-16” compound radius ebony fingerboard with 24 jumbo frets is designed for highly technical lightspeed playing—more curved by the nut for comfortable chording, it flattens out as you move up the speedy neck (with hand-rubbed oil back finish) for increasingly fast playing speed and wide bends without fretting out. Sound Chosen specifically for their complementary sound, a pair of modern Seymour Duncan Distortion humbucking pickups (TB-6 bridge/SH-6N neck) drives this guitar’s voice, combining for highly balanced, flexible tone, with plenty of high output for pristine cleans and snarling distortion. Volume and tone controls shape the pickups’ output, which can be further refined with the three-position toggle switch for the precise voice required to bring your musical vision to life. 100% of funds raised in this raffle (after listing fees) is raising valuable funds for Teenage Cancer Trust. ABOUT TEENAGE CANCER TRUST Every day, seven young people aged 13-24 hear the words “you have cancer”. They will each need specialised nursing care and support to get them through it. Teenage Cancer Trust is the only UK charity dedicated to meeting this vital need – so no young person faces cancer alone. This year has been a challenging one for everyone and at Teenage Cancer Trust we’ve also had to focus our efforts on responding to the global crisis. The demand for our support has never been greater, especially as Coronavirus means young people are facing more isolation, fear and uncertainty than ever before. Our income has been hit by almost one third and we expect this to continue through 2021. We’re not a big charity and we receive no Government funding, therefore we solely rely on the generosity of supporters like yourselves to survive Just £30 can provide an hour of expert nursing care. Even an hour of support from someone who truly understands what you’re going through is proven to make a big difference to feelings of isolation, anxiety and depression – something that’s needed more so now than ever. Right now Teenage Cancer Trust can’t reach every young person who needs them. With your support they can make sure young people get the nursing care and support they need, through their cancer treatment and beyond.
