About the Camp:

The Pacific Autism Family Network is excited to invite you to our second year of summer camp programming. The Media Production Camp is best suited for individuals 13 to 18 years of age interested in exploring film and media production. Teens will work in our state of the art AV studio located in our purpose built Hub location in Richmond, BC. Putting their creative skills to work, teens will learn about film equipment, project planning and editing footage.

Prerequisite Skills for Camp:

  • Does not require 1:1 Support
  • Can participate in activities safely in an environment with other teens
  • No significant behavioral problems, aggressive physical behavior, or self-injurious behavior
  • Can follow basic instructions and requests
  • Some activities will creative expression, individuals that are able to fully participate will gain the most from program content
  • Parents will be contacted to complete the intake process once registration is complete.

Camp Details:

2 Sessions of Camp are available for registration. There will be some overlap of content, however teens are welcome to attend both camp sessions as the creative aspects will be different.

Session 1: July 16 - 27 (Weekdays from 10AM - 2PM) Session 2: July 30 - August 10 (Weekdays from 10AM - 2PM)

The cost per participant is $650 each session. Camps are inclusive and individuals on the autism spectrum as well as those developing typically, or with other disabilities are welcome to attend.

Registration includes access to camp sessions and activities, daily snacks and camp t-shirt. Lunch is not included and campers will be responsible for providing their own lunch.
