THIS FIX IS SUPERSEDED BY LATER INTERIM FIXESThe WebSphere Application Server interim fix for this fix for APAR PH44271. Download and install the fix for PH44271 to resolve PH44393.
PH44393 resolves the following problem:

All users of IBM HTTP Server on distributed platforms with interim fix IFPH43122
PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
IHS can crash in function ap_scan_http_field_content() when processing special characters in URLs or headers.
RECOMMENDATION:
None
A build/packaging error omitted the fix for PH43887 from the interim fixes for PH43122.

New tests added for this issue during PH43887 did not catch the omission.
PROBLEM CONCLUSION:
New interim fixes will be issued under PH44393. No fix pack is affected.
This fix supersedes (includes) the fix for PH41945, PH42030, PH42587, PH42862, PH43122, PH43887
