I have over 25 years of experience educating students with special needs in elementary, middle, and high school. I taught Deaf and hard-of-hearing students, SLD, EBD, MiH, and students with Autism. My previous experience includes self-contained, resource, inclusion, and itinerant delivery models.
My teaching style is experience-based learning with hands-on activities, visual aids, flexible grouping, and choice boards.

I am a compassionate and creative person. I loved teaching and creating my resources when I was in the classroom. After retirement, I stay connected to the field of education by researching and developing educational resources for teachers to use in their general education and special education classrooms.
