About this ebook

The Earl and Countess of Banfield cordially request your attendance at the wedding for their daughter Lady Gwyn Hambly to Lord Locryn Pendarvis on the 20th day of June, 1812, at Castle Keyvnor, Bocka Morrow, Cornwall.

BEGUILED AT THE WEDDING includes:

Deb Marlowe's Miss Penneck & the Pixie's Poem

Miss Penneck was sublimely content when she at last realized her dream of opening a bookstore—until a handsome printer shows up, claiming the shop space is his. * Suddenly, everything is complicated. There's a Pixie in her shop, her father is obsessed with the notion of her deceased mother returning to visit, and the handsome printer's enemies have made her a target. * Her life is in a tangle, but a Pixie's poem will show them all that love and connection are always the answer—and the best that life can give.

Jane Charles' A Spirited Courtship

After a failed London courtship left James Bryant, the Earl of Somerton, and Miss Diana Vail both heartbroken from the experience, the pair finds themselves thrown together once again along the Cornish coast. The meddlesome ghosts of Castle Keyvnor are determined the dejected lovebirds are perfect for each other and will stop at nothing to ensure a happy ever after. But is this stubborn pair more than a match for their spirited matchmakers?

Virginia Heath's Written in the Stars

Miss Cecily Grimshaw and Captain Spencer Tremayne were always destined to be soul mates. Their whirlwind romance was all going completely to plan too— until chaos intervened and ruined everything. Young, headstrong and broken hearted, Cecily and Spencer angrily went their separate ways and for five long, lonely, miserable years all seemed to be lost. Until a compelling celestial force dragged them both reluctantly to Castle Kevynor...

Castle Keyvnor.. That magical place where anything can happen with the spirits, pixies and other worldly characters help bring the guest together or at least make mischief! Three great authors bring their stories to life as men and women attend a summer wedding at the castle. Miss Pennick & the Pixie's Poem by Deb Marlowe Finally having achieved her dream of opening a bookstore, Miss Lowenna Pennick is faced with printer Ruan thinking her shop's space was his. But with some villains wanting to do harm to Ruan for his good deeds of helping young readers, the pair team up together. With the help of a sweet Pixie, Puff, and a little magic, it seems these two might find their happy ever after too! Sweet! A Spirited Courtship by Jane Charles A wonderful story of true love, almost not given a chance due to gossip being overheard. But three determined ghost sentenced to a life stuck in the castle until they can bring true love to a couple. Diana and James had begun to develop a deep love for each other, until she overheard some of Jame's friends talking. She quickly breaks off their courtship and tries to nurse her broken heart. But a wedding she has to attend at neighboring Castle Keyvnor brings them back together. As much as they try to avoid each other three enchanting ghosts are determined to bring them together. Fun, delightful, full of humor but touching, I loved their journey and could not wait to see what happened! Written in the Stars by Virginia Heath Second chances rarely come around, but it seems possible with Miss Cecily Grimshaw and Capt Spencer Tremayne. Five years ago they seemed to find each other and fall in love quickly and their happy ever after was destined. But that was vanquished by an unexpected happening. Now they are coming into contact again and the wrongs of the past are trying to be righted by the entities at Castle Keynor. Could they find that true love they had and lost? Loved this story and was delightful!

All three stories were full of the mystical and love, and at points made me cry. Miss Penneck and the Pixie's Poem - Deb Marlowe - Lowenna was kind and quite willing to help Ruan. He was glad for the assistance but very protective of Lowenna and her livelihood. They attraction was instant and sweet. The Pixie was also a sweet and interesting character as she figured out her own purpose in life. A Spirited Courtship - Jane Charles - This story had me in tears several times. It was a second-chance/reunion at love story for Diana and James. Both were wonderful characters and quite willing to help out some ghosts end their torturous eternity. The ghosts were annoying but very much touched my heart. Written in the Stars - Virginia Heath - Another second-chance story/reunion story. This story had divine intervention, Pixies, ghosts, and magic. Cecily was strong as she tried to improve her situation despite all her bad luck. Spencer was a broken man and was more than willing to work out the issues. I recommend this collection and look forward to reading Books 1 and 3. I received an ARC of this collection, and this is my unsolicited review.

Beguiled at the Wedding is a collection of stories by Jane Charles, Virginia Heath, and Deb Marlowe. “Miss Penneck and the Pixies Poem” by Deb Marlowe is a delightful tale of heartache and romance with a dash of pixie dust on the side. I would give this story 4 stars. “A Spirited Courtship” by Jane Charles This book is really funny. I loved Diana and Lord Somerton’s romance. I would give this one a solid 5 stars. “Written In The Stars” by Virginia Heath is a charming story about romance, heartbreak, and second chances. I can’t wait to read more by Heath. I was given a copy of this compilation of books.
