Life-sized Overwatch D.Va model revealed for BlizzCon!
Posted by TheBrickPal,BlizzCon, celebrating all of the games coming out of Blizzard Entertainment, starts tomorrow at the Anaheim Convention Center in California.
Of course, Overwatch is being represented there, and LEGO has officially revealed a sculpture of D.Va, aka Hana Song - a former pro-gamer from South Korea - as well as her mech suit MEKA! It will be on display on the showfloor, "protecting" attendees from potential omnic threats. The model appears to be based on the MEKA and minifigure featured in 75973 D.Va & Reinhardt, and consists of 145,276 pieces weighing 1256 pounds.
We anticipate more from LEGO Overwatch to be shown this weekend, following the accidental Target reveal last week. Additionally, 75987 Omnic Bastion will be sold at the event (in limited quantities, surely). We will keep you updated on anything else that happens. In the meantime, "keep calm and Tracer on"!

Question of the day: do the stud shooters work?! ;)
A great picture, since I haven't actually seen the minifigure yet due to the dark(ish) cockpit window.
Not a fan of overwatch but even I can admit that this is kinda cool
I am only interested in one set (So Dorado Showdown) but the rest of the wave looks great. Sombra spoiled Lego and Blizzard surprise.....
^ Boop! Sombra online...
Speaking of, hope we get her minifigure in the next wave!
The leaked minifigure of D.Va didn't seem to have any printing on the sides of her headgear - seeing as she's obviously the most important character in the entire game I'd hope she has a bit more detail put into her ;)
There is a face in that mech's crotch that I cannot unsee.
It was hard to get a sense of scale on the boxart of D.Va's set form, but if this is any indication it should be pretty close minifig scale! Reinhardt still feels a bit too massive though.
@CM4Sci: I often withhold final judgment on those sorts of leaked figs, since as factory leaks there's no real guarantee that the figs that find their way onto auction sites have gone through all the same stages of quality control. Missing printing could just indicate that the hair piece was smuggled out prior to or in lieu of the complete print process. It's hard to say until we've seen what a fig looks like in the final sets bought at retail.
Looks like there's a new gun piece, which I'm assuming is also used to build Reaper's guns... neat!
