35. Christmas snowmen

This is the snowman Christmas decoration that I am entering in the 2017 Christmas Ornament Challenge. I wanted a very simple design, because I needed to make over a dozen of these for family and friends. This design is based on a video from The Sonoran Woodshop. For the body, I used maple that I salvaged from an old tabletop. The hat is made from walnut. For the eyes, nose, and buttons I used a package of black and white brads, which I found at the Michaels craft store. The brass hanger loop is from Canadian Tire.
Based on the entries I’ve seen for previous years, I certainly don’t expect my snowmen to impress anyone, but they were a lot of fun to make, and my friends and relatives enjoy receiving them.
