HR for Education 2018

Birmingham Conference and Events Centre

Wednesday 3 October 2018, 8.45am - 3.30pm

£220 + VAT per person

The return of our HR conference this year brings together a combination of leading national education lawyers, HR consultants and leaders within the education sector.

The agenda has themes of ethical leadership throughout and we begin the day with a lively discussion from our leaders panel as they debate on the subject of leading in tough times.

We know that schools continue to face challenges around the constant need to drive forward change, improvement and progress, all on a very tight budget and with a struggle to recruit and retain the best talent to deliver on expectations. We have designed this agenda with these challenges in mind.

Whether you are part of a single academy, a maintained school or multi-academy trust, we have a learning programme designed specifically for you - tailored talks for people whose focus is on the day-to-day management of employee relations, workshops for those who have overall responsibility for the HR function within your organisation, and the latest developments coming out of employment law.

Here’s a glimpse into what’s going on across the conference – download the full agenda for you to discuss with your team, and register today.

Leading in tough times

Hear from our panel of experts as they debate the concept of ethical leadership. What is it and how could it impact on your day to day functions? How do challenges threaten the core principles underpinning ethical leadership? Confirmed panelists include:

  • Maria Cicero-Scott, HR Director, GLF Schools
