Taste of Summer
Hats off to Mrs.Preston. She has given us another fabulous couple to fall in love with in her new book a Taste of Summer.
Carrie Ann Lowell and Ryan Summer were meant to be together forever. Unfortunately sometimes life has a way of getting knocked off course.
These two strong willed, feisty individuals collide once again 10 years later. The attraction is not only still very apparent but is undeniable. Carrie had her heart shattered and will not be making that mistake again with golden boy Summer. Ryan knows what he wants and will do everything in his power to have it back. Carrie is his it and always has been , she just doesn't realize that yet. The sexy, cocky confident Mr. Summer is about to show her how persuasive he can be.
Beverly's writing takes hold of you and drags you in . You the reader become emotionally invested and fall right into the lives of these characters. We are taken on a journey of rediscovery. Is this relationship salvageable or will the years and baggage tear them down? We are privileged to feel like we are there watching these characters evolve, heal and hopefully remember what made them amazing together.
Beverly you certainly know how to show us a Good Time!

Holding On To Hope
Oh my heavens ....I do love The Italian...a.k.a Antonia !
We the readers had the privilege of becoming acquainted with him in JC's story. Antonio is certainly a man you will not soon forget. He is tall, dark , handsome.. that should be enough but now top it with suave, sophisticated and caring . Ms. Preston certainly knows how to write us a leading man.
Hope is a world renowned sommelier . She does not answer to anyone and certainly does not need a man to compete her world, although she doesn't mind if they warm her bed occasionally.
Hope and Antonio's worlds cross paths many times over several years. The days they spend together are always unforgettable , but no ties , no commitment that's their deal . It is what they both want...or is it? Hope is pleasantly surprised that each time she returns to Antonio's family vineyard that he is still an eligible bachelor .
Hope is taken on a journey that she never thought she would find herself traveling. She is a strong independent women never in need of anyone to help her but now Antonio appears when she finds herself in the most need.
Fate has a strange way of bring two souls together when they need it the most!

Let me just start off by saying I'm a HUGE Beverly Preston Fan! She pulled me in with her first book, No More Wasted Time! Ever since then I've fallen in love with her Mathew Family series. When she said she was writing a parallel novel based on characters that weren't the immediate family, I was intrigued!
Her first A Taste of Summer didn't disappoint AT ALL! I personally feel that this one is her best yet! I absolutely loved her main characters Ryan and Carrie Ann. They are both written as complex characters who have experienced a lot, together as well as apart. This is a book about second chances, and who doesn't love a second chance at love!
Holding on to Hope...WOW! Hope and Antonio off the charts! This story was everything! Hope had a plan. She new what she wanted out of life and what she didn't. However life doesn't always work the way you planned...but that isn't always a bad thing!
If you haven't read the Mathews Family series, don't worry, you can read this and still follow along...but who hasn't read the series!?!?!
You will NOT be dissapointed in either of these books!!

This box set is an emotional rollercoaster ride you'll never forget...
Wow, I experienced every emotion possible with this set, and the ugly tears were gutting. This author never disappoints and will have you craving more. After every book I think "this is my new favorite"... until I read her next book.

Delicious
Beverly has added two new books to her wildly popular Matthews family series. Carrie Ann, Shayla's besties story is followed in Summer and the Giovanni family story continues in The Italian.
Heartbreak and redemption are dealt with in a very caring way. I love ongoing family sagas.
