"We have some great education news for our Canadian friends!"
|
Greetings!
|
| | Enjoying a quiet moment with Canadian CADD students at Star Island last month. (photo credit: Karen Basque) |
We have had a sweet summer this year so far. I took almost two months off from teaching in order to relax my brain and spend time with the grand kids. I could not resist however teaching my hallmark class, CADD, Craniosacral Therapy Around Death and Dying in mid-July. It was an all Canadian class this year with all students journeying from New Brunswick, Canada to Star Island. We had a great time AND I learned some very important news from them that I would like to pass on to all my Canadian colleagues: Your government has a program that will pay you to attend classes from the CST Alliance. It's true! From this page you can select your territory for more information as it applies to your region.
For those Canadians just beginning their CST journey there is a three-day class: BE1 (our beginning CST class) in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Sept. 15-17, with Gary Keeling or you can come to New Hampshire where I will be teaching BE1 September 29-October 1. This will be the last BE1 class in New Hampshire for 2017. Learn MoreLearn more about our new faculty member Gary Keeling below. In other upcoming class news -- for more experienced students/therapists in the work we have: BE2 "The Cranium" September 8-10 in New Hampshire Learn More SE1 "Listening to the Body" October 6-8 in New Hampshire Learn More BE3 "The Anterior Cranium" November 3-5 in New Hampshire Learn More Another of our special education events (that the Canadian gov. will also pay for) this fall we have: The 7 th Annual CSTA Retreat -- Come review, refresh, refine and renew your CST skills and be treated!! October 14-15 in the seacoast region of New Hampshire. Learn More For the first time anywhere: Our new class, new concept: CLI (Craniosacral-Lymphatic Integration) 3-Day Class November: 17-19 This class will dramatically change the way you practice. It is a fantastic addition to any practice, both structural and/or somato-emotional. Scroll down to learn more about this class. We are proud to offer small classes focused on the student and personally crafted learning experiences here and abroad. We are dedicated to making the world a touch better and moving CST forward in the world. Set your fall learning schedule with us now and be a part of the CST Alliance wave. All therapists from any country or CST curriculum are most welcome to share in our CST program and journey.

Integrating Basic Lymphatic Manual Technique Into Your CST Practice
|
|
We will explore new research, theory, anatomy and technique. Recognizing that the lymphatic system has an important role in the reabsorption of CSF and in the circulation of our immune system. It is fundamental to the function of the craniosacral system (CS) and therefore should be included in our approach to facilitating CS function and health. Exploring the similar manual pressures, hand placements, rhythm observations and patient reactions will make this class a fabulous, fun adventure along with new information and possibilities. Class size will be limited.
November 17-19, 2017
Three-day class, 18 NCBTMB CEUs
Pre-requisite is BE2 or equivalent.
Study guides will be provided.
