President Trump names Brad Parscale as campaign manager for 2020 re-election bid

President Trump on Tuesday named Brad Parscale as his campaign manager for his re-election bid.

Parscale worked on Trump's 2016 campaign as its digital director.

The Drudge Report called Parscale's appointment a "bold move" and said it was the earliest any president had named a campaign manager for his re-election bid. Trump's decision comes 980 days before the 2020 election.

In an email announcing Parscale's appointment, Eric Trump called Parscale an "amazing talent."

Brad Parscale, digital director of Donald Trump's 2016 presidential campaign, speaks on the third day of the 7th Web Summit in Lisbon, Portugal, Nov. 8. 2017.

"He has our family's complete trust and is the perfect person to be at the helm of the campaign," he said.
